After being told the garage door would be installed two-three weeks after ordering, I waited five weeks plus another week for installation. Then we discovered that the decorative hardware for the front of the door was missing. It has been ordered, but again we wait. It should not take nearly two months to get a garage door. Given that, the installer was very professional as was Gloria at the local store.

I made sure to check the door before I signed for it... the glass on one of the doors was cracked... the manufacturer drilled into the glass when they screwed in the frame for holds the window in... Its been over 6 weeks since Sierra Garage services Inc delivered the doors and I'm still waiting for a new glass. I called them but no answer or call backs. They said, I don't have to let home depot know about the damage, that they will deal with all that and get a new panel. I guess I have to call home depot or stop paying for the hd card?

The door itself is very high quality. Extremely nice looking and well built. The problems started upon ordering. First of all, nowhere was it mentioned that it took 4 to 6 weeks for delivery until after I paid for the door. Secondly, the door was delivered with all of the rail attachment brackets missing. Also, I was shipped 2 right ez-set torsion springs and no left ez-set torsion spring. I immediately got on the phone to Home Depot Customer Service. After about 30 minutes of being transferred around and waiting on hold, I was told by the first rep. that it was best if I handle getting replacement parts by myself and gave me a phone number to call. It turned out that the number was no longer in service. I called back asking for the same rep and was put on hold again for another 30 minutes. Then I was told the rep would call me back. He did not return my call. The next day I spent 4 hours on the phone and talked to two additional reps before they transfer me to the Manufacturer Colpay. After being transferred 3 times there and having to explain the situation each time I was told there was nothing they could do for me. I finally got in touch with a supervisor at Home Depot Customer Service who ordered the parts. Of course I had to wait another 2 weeks for the replacement parts to arrive all the while without a functioning garage door. Needless to say I am very hestitant to order anything online at Home Depot ever again.
