Customer Reviews

11-1/4 in. Heavy-Duty Bronze Shelf and Rod Bracket is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible purchase - rod clips not even! I thought these were going to be the perfect solution to add a closet rod to my walk-in closet and add some shelf space. I was very careful with the installation and made sure that the top shelf support was in line for all 4 brackets I installed. However, once I was done and tried to install the rod, I found out that the rod supports were all in varying positions. There was no way to install the closet rod so that it sat in all 4 supports. The best I could do was have it in 2 supports at a time. Which made these brackets useless. So I ended up making 12 1/2" holes in my wall for no reason. The brackets all need to come down and be returned and now I'll have to either attempt to find something that uses the same drilling pattern or patch and paint all the holes (most likely option) and start from scratch. This is a terrible product that clearly has no quality control standards and Home Depot should stop stocking it.
