Answer:
The shelf is not what supports that weight it is the shelf track and the shelf track brackets. The more weight you want to support the more track and brackets you need. If you mount the shelf track to studs 16" on center and then attach brackets to each track you can support a lot of weight.

Answer:
Light boxes, OK, as long as the weight is distributed across the whole shelf. I have can goods on these shelves in my pantry stacked 3 high and the material shags. Concentrated loads are bad for this material. Maybe 3-5 pounds within a 5" square area max.

144" will get me five shelves in the pantry I want to put this in, but will not fit in my car.
Can home depot cut this down to size for me, or will I need to bring a hacksaw and do it in the parking lot?

Using the hanging brackets bought at store. Find wall studs and use drywall screws. Braces every 2'-3' or every other stud in the wall. Use end hangers.

144 in. W x 20 in. D White Close Mesh Ventilated Wire Shelf is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I have this shelving along a wall in my basement. I used it combined with plastic totes to make a storage system. It is loaded down with hundreds of pounds of weight, no sag at all. If you know basic principles of construction you will have no issues with weight. I mounted shelf track every 16" OC with concrete fasteners and then attached shelf track brackets to each track. I have 10 shelf tracks with 30 shelf track brackets and 3 of these shelves-works great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks great but weak material Remodeling pantry and decided to use wire shelves verses wood. Looks attractive but after filling shelves with can goods and liquid bottles, the shelving material shags considerably from front to back. Light materials on shelves, OK, heavy materials on shelves, not OK. I hope it doesn't fail.
