A tip to anyone having the problem of this thing falling out of its track when its open... Take a pair of pliers (use a rag or paper towel so you don't mar the paint) and bend the U shaped part of the wire shelf slightly inward on each side. This will cause the brackets to be slightly closer together and angled slightly inward. Once I did this, it worked WAY better!
I've only had the hamper for a few weeks, but so far so good.

The fabric holding the hamper on the track (left/right) split within the first month. We do laundry every other day - the clothes should not have been to heavy to hold...

I installed this system and I was most excited about these hampers. I got one for myself, one for my husband. I thought it was going to keep our closet nice and neat. Wrong. They slide by friction not hardware so you can barely pull it open if it's full. Not smooth. Then I stopped using it entirely when it started popping apart. What an awful design! Hate it, waste of space and money.

I was going to add this to my closet set up as an after thought. I installed closet the rods on the wall using the maximum width apart of 24". I purchased just the hamper, not realizing it would need extra parts sold separately. When I realized that I would an need extra part just to add it to the framework AND an additional piece on the wall to attach it because the hamper requires the wall rods to be 21' not 24' apart, I decided against the whole thing because it ends up being quite expensive. Now after reading the reviews that it doesn't work, I'm happy with my decision. I'm just going to by a cute hamper and put in that place instead.

I installed the hamper in my wife's closet for her to store clothes in. As she filled it the hamper kept falling off the track. I noticed that as she slid it in, the track twisted. It couldn't handle the weight. Fortunately, in my case, it was between two walls with 1/4 inch clearance on both sides. I was able to put wedges between the walls and the tracks to stop the twisting. If I hung it where there was no wall it would have been useless.

The hamper will not hold the weight of clothes. It keeps falling off which is annoying and could be harmful on the feet. I would not recommend this product. I am going to try buying the frame to put the hamper in and see it that works better.
