This product was a great value for the price. We are using it for a pantry in our kitchen and have no complaints. It was easy to put together, and I recommend reading the directions once before you begin installing. By doing this, I was able to figure out how to reverse the door so that it now opens on the right side (the directions in the package give you steps for installing it to open on the left side). All of the pieces and parts were included in the box, and it also comes with a stylish, silver-color (plastic) door handle that adds a nice touch. While the inside of the cabinet and the shelves are not covered in white melamine, you could always cover the shelves with lining or shelf paper if that's a problem (we did that, and it added a nice touch). Also, the unit comes with 2 fixed shelves (top and bottom positions) and 2 adjustable shelves, giving us lots of space for storage for our food items. One thing to note: the item is heavy! My friend and I needed help loading it into her 2-door coupe and it wouldn't slide all the way in so we had to use twine to tie down the trunk. But once we got it inside the house, everything worked out great. I have to admit, I researched comparable closets before purchasing this one from Home Depot and I wanted one with a heavier footprint; it shows the product is more durable and sturdy. I'm happy to report that my assumptions were correct and the value of this item has exceeded my expectations! I'd buy this product again, and I'm very pleased with the quality.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bigmikev PRETTY DARN GOOD FOR THE MONEY
This is a very good portable pantry for a townhome or apartment. My 10 year old son and I assembled it in about 45 minutes and I admit I have no mechanical ability. The hardest thing about the assembly was trying to figure out which was the left and right sides of the cabinet as they were not marked. This cabinet is made of particle board but quality and construction are very good for the money. Keep it in perspective. This is not a high end expensive cabinet but it you need a decent quality product for the money and it serves it purpose well. You only need 2 screw drivers (or drill driver) and a hammer for assembly.

Easy to assemble. Meets our needs. Affordable and still attractive in our classroom.

Contents of box were pristine, all hardware was present, instructions were fairly clear. Assembly took 30-45 minutes. Would like to see one more adjustable shelf included.

The review summary is not a criticism. If you are buying this cabinet you should be driven mostly by cost considerations because they are on the low end of the quality spectrum, but if you are looking for value for dollars spent they are the right decision. As an FYI. we bought five cabinets and had to return two of them for replacements due to damaged panels. You have to be willing to work through these issues if you are going to buy these cabinets. Both ClosetMaid and Home Deport were good about returns and replacement, but you have to have the patience to work with this process.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 OK for the money but not what I expected
Description incorrectly states no shelves. 1 fixed and 2 adjustable shelves were included. Inside of cabinet is exposed pressboard not white melamine finish that is on the exterior. Follow installation instructions carefully when tapping in the metal & wooden pegs otherwise you'll damage the exterior surface. Sturdy and not bad for the price.
