Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Aayan Easy assembly, nice appearance
This organizer was a perfect fit for my son’s bedroom; he helped me arranging all his night time story books in the shelves. All the books once sitting in a corner on the floor are now nicely organized in this unit. He loves it and so do I. I secured it with the wall stud using the hardware that came with it.
Dimension of each shelf are; Height= 11 1/4", Width = 11 1/4" and Depth = 11 5/8".
It was shipped without any signs of tear. Assembly was easy and took about half hour. Shelves and side/top panels are particle board, back panel is card board so do not expect sturdiness.
It’s working out great for my intended use.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Willwgp Useful For Holding Things!
The organizer does require assembly, but once set up, it looks great and is very functional for storing things. During installation, you'll notice the dowels are pre-glued (blue in color); instructions state to just dip each one in water and then immediately insert them in the holes. All you need for the rest of assembly is a hammer, a flathead and a phillips. The organizer is quite stable with the backing installed, and looks really nice. You can hold photos and little trinkets on it for decoration, or maybe books. We have it by our kitchen table so we can quickly access our entertainment of choice during breakfast or lunch. It's been a good addition to the family, and the cat enjoys jumping up on it for resting, so we've had to put a little pillow up there for her. So with all of that said, it's a good organizer, looks pretty nice! And we do recommend it.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by gnevius Looks nice assembled, could benefit from better material
After returning our first shelf due to a large, deep scratch, the replacement unit also had some negligible scratches in the finish. The shelf would benefit from using MDF or something other than particle board. Assembly was fairly easy, but you owe it to yourself to take your time. You don't get a 'do over' since a few of the parts are not built for that. Something that I have never seen before: glue impregnated wooden pegs - interesting to say the least. You must dip each one in water to activate the glue and then insert them into the pre-drilled holes. They are a little messy and will stain your fingers, so you may want to wear latex gloves and protect your flooring with newspaper or something along those lines. Overall, it looks nice when assembled. Fit and finish are slightly above average. However, this is a paper-covered product. It is NOT solid wood. I would recommend it, but with a bit of reservation.

I did not find this product easy to assemble. First it appeared that one of the labeled pieces was mislabeled. Secondly, I was seeking clarification in one of the diagrams. I called their help line and was responded to rudely with that person eventually hanging up while I was still talking. I called back and got someone else on the phone who appeared a bit more understanding. She provided me with a reference number and asked that I take photos and email them with the reference number. I did that but never heard back. Returned the product this morning to home depot. Very disappointed especially with the folks at Closetmaid!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Angie Great design; Poor quality
The design is what first attracted me to this product. It has a very elegant look. However, once you pull the pieces out of the box you can instantly see the cheap quality of the product. The ends where the laminate join are not sealed and leaves the white partical board showing, the decorative bevel edging does not fit flushly together, and the unit is not very sturdy once assembled.
I was very disappointed in the quality of the product. I would have been willing to pay more money If the product was made with better material or the craftsmanship of the curent pieces was better. Also, the package was missing a piece of hardware so be sure to count all your pieces, even the dowels, before you begin assembling.
Needless to say, this will be going back to the store.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Brandon Bad build quality. Won't last.
First, the actual unit I got at the store was clearly a repack. It had obviously been partially put together, then disassembled, returned. Of course, the problem with this is that it is fiber board and uses glued dowels, which had been broken off in the holes. Second, the build quality is really bad. Fiberboard furniture is never that sturdy, but this is probably the worst I've ever experienced. It chipped while getting it out of the box, chipped while assembling, lots of chips.
