Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ladgyn GREAT PANTRY BUT REINFORCE THE BACK
The kitchen in my new house has very little cabinet space so I needed something to use as a pantry to store canned, dry goods, small appliances, etc. After reading the reviews here I took the advice of other reviewers and made a trip back to Home Depot to have a piece of backing board cut to secure and stabilize the cabinet. It fit true to size 71.5 x 36. I glued it on then secured it with about 12 screws around the edges. The cabinet comes with a folded cardboard backing. It is literally cardboard like the back of a legal pad. Spend the extra $10 and have a piece of board cut to really secure the cabinet and made it a solid piece of furniture. Other than that, it took about 3 hours to put together. Make sure you buy wood glue. You will need it. I glued all pieces before securing with the supplied wood screws. It turned out really well.

I love my storage cabinets. I bought them for my boys' play area. Worked out perfect, very durable.

The box is heavy. Assembling it was easy for two. It is a nice looking cabinet for storage.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by JanInFl Worst purchase for the price!
My son and I purchased this unit as a pantry for his new house. I can't believe he paid $185 for this piece of junk! It was so badly constructed that the stationary shelves would not fit in the precut groves. There are also two oversized crosspieces for the front and back that run along the floor, referred to as 'kick guards' in the directions. Both of these pieces were cut so large that when screwed in from the sides (front and back), the pieces actually bowed out! The unfinished edges were showing, so we had to drill a screw in front to pull it in and make it flush with the front of the unit. When attaching the CARDBOARD backing, we found that it wasn't cut square, so when we lined up one side to the edge, the opposite stuck out by at least an 1/8 of inch at the bottom. We didn't have any tools to try and shave off the excess, so we placed the unit where that side can't be seen. Finally, for $185, we were shocked to find cheap stickers to cover the screws, instead of plastic caps. I expected so much more from a name brand like Closet Maid and Home Depot!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by meandpru Attractive, sturdy storage at great price
We purchased two of these cabinets from Home Depot over two years ago. I assembled both of them by myself in less than 3 hours. They still look excellent...(in our garage and can get rather dusty....I just dust them with a swiffer then wipe clean to their bright white finish with a damp wash cloth using a few drops of dish soap in warm water ), and the shelving, despite the tremendous amount of weight they've had to endure, do not show any sagging or other signs of stress. I'm online now to purchase two more. They are very sturdy, attractive, and offer lots of storage at a very reasonable price.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by craftroom Great Cabinets
I purchased 2 cabinets for use in my craft room. The boxes are heavy, so prepare to have 2 people to bring into the house, especially if they are going upstairs. Easy assembly for anyone with experience assembling put-together furniture. The raised panels on the doors added a "quality" look to the room's décor. They "look" much better than other cabinets in this price range. The shelves have buckled slightly under the weight of the stored products, which I expected. Since I bought 2, I have many options of interchanging the shelves between the cabinets based on my storage needs. My overall rating is excellent because it functions well and looks good for this type of non-wood furniture.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Vidchick Is this the solution to my problems?
Pretty easy to assemble. Pay close attention to location of right vs left panel when beginning assembly. All of the pieces & hardware were in tact. It's very heavy but I was able to manage to assemble most of it by myself. The only time I needed assistance was placing the supports for the facing pieces on the bottom (there were no guide holes) and with installing/aligning the doors.
One revision I would suggest, for the back panel, possibly some guide holes for placement so it can be easily aligned with the upper stationary shelf and nailed in place.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by odorigaud You get what you pay for....
Yes, this falls in that category: Get what you pay for. First, know before you leave the store that you need wood glue that's not included. Save yourself an extra trip. As with earlier review, I cannot believe the cardboard back panel. It is literally cardboard and not very thick at that. I will probably go to the trouble of getting a piece of 70"x36" plywood, painting it and re-enstall. With out it the cabinet lacks stability and will just pull the screws loose from the pressboard over time. It's not less than I expected for the price, I just would have paid a little more for a better back panel to have been included rather than have to reengineer it myself. Like me you might also wish it had an extra shelf
