Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Kellen Great veneer
My first impression when I opened up the box was that the veneer was higher quality than I expected for this type of particle board, quick assemble furniture (the type you get at that Swedish store). Assembly was quick and mindless (the one possible gotcha is there is no veneer on the 'back' side, so make sure all the panels are facing the right way).
The shelves themselves are solid and well secured, and looks good enough to not be relegated to just basement/garage storage. I don't think you'll trick anyone who knows their stuff into thinking it's teak, but it does look nice.
I knocked it a star only because of the backboard, it's the typical cardboard backing that's kind of flimsy and won't sit perfectly flat/gives away the 'quick easy assembly' nature of the furniture.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Kiki Very nice Cube Organizer~Easy to put together
This cube organizer was very easy to put together. It's very pretty and has good weight to it. I included a picture to show how it comes out of the box before you put it together. It was packaged and protected really well for delivery.
As you can see, it's very straight forward. I had to do a little minor adjusting for some of the hardware - I think the pre-drilled holes may have been slightly too deep, but it was very simple to fix.
I also have included pictures of the finished unit with and without a couple of canvas storage cubes (sold seperately) so you can see how versatile the unit is.
You could use it for books, for collectibles, with or without the canvas storage bins or anything your imagination can come up with! I took the pictures in front of 2 different colored walls so you can also see that this finish will go with mostly any color at all.
The back is very attractive as it was made to match the unit. You may need an extra set of hands to hold it while you nail it on.
Very pretty, nice and durable and very versatile!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Shengjun A nice-looking organizer with a few buts
The organizer looks good and is very easy to put together. It is very versitle. You can use it for shelfing anything that fit inside the cubes, which are about 10 by 10. I wish it comes with the fabric containers you see in the picture. Without the containers you can't store small objects. Closet Maid makes the fabric containers but they are very over-priced. There are some cheaper alternatives if you shop around. I wish each cube is taller so I can fit magazine or binders inside them. The weathered teak finish goes well with a gray wall or silver/white furniture for a sophisticated look. Think twice if most of your furniture is in rich brown or cherry.

Worst piece of paper and press board furniture I have put together. Very flimsy and weak with sharp edges and corners. Had to use wood glue on on "pre" glued dowels which didn't hold at all. Had to use Wood Finish stain marker to cover up dents and bare areas. Assembly instructions are very poor. Probably should have sent it back to HD.

Caution. This piece is very fragile during building. But decent value

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by mjt Nice product for the money
Finished product is very nice. Directions can be a little difficult to follow, so make sure you are using the correctly labeled panels and the correct size dowels. We used the medium ones instead of the longer ones incorrectly and then had to cut the longer ones to finish the job. The back covering is not quite large enough and therefore hard to install. But for $80 a great product.

Overall we are really happy with this product. Wish it was a little more stable, but it definitely serves its purpose and matches our beach house decor.

I just bought this product with organization and extra storage in mind. The assembly was relatively easy. I read other reviews about the glue I didn't have any issue or excess residue. The quality is to be expected for $80, it is particle board/composite wood. However, this is very sturdy. Overall I do recommend.
