Overall, they're decent cabinet for the garage. The only downside is you're limited to 3 adjustable 23" selves. Closetmaid should offer extra 23" shelves for purchase. Asembly was easy enough though I did find it a bit tough to keep it square. If you don't take care getting that step down, the doors will never line up. Again for the price, it's good for general garage storage and nothing heavy duty.

I purchased 5 of these cabinets for my garage. The 1st cabinet went a little slow trying to follow the Ikea like instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions as to where the unfinished edges face. Use extra glue for lasting bonds. No not over tighten the screws. I was able to assemble all the cabinets in about 5 hours. The Cabinet design is sound except for the base "skirt" its poorly designed but gets the job done. When attaching the back panel take care to center your nails or you will blow part of the finish off on the inside, if that happens just remove the nail and glue the finish back on. I mounted the cabinets on a edge so I purchased the additional standoffs for added support.

These cabinets are working fine in our garage for painting supplies, paint, car cleaning supplies and etc. True, the back is flimsy cardboard but you can have the nice guys at Home Depot cut you a piece of plywood the same size as the cardboard to make them sturdier.

Directions are very easy to follow. I put four of these together. The first one took a little less than an hour to assemble. Each successive one went quicker. My only complaint are the poor quality hinges. I had to adjust them to the maximum capable in order to get the doors to close. Also, the screws for the handle are a little bit too short. I had to use a countersink bit on a couple of them because the screw stripped out the first threads on the handle before it would engage. I accidentally dropped one of the doors on a concrete floor and couldn't find any damage. They are correct that they are impact/abrasion resistant.

The other reviews should have warned me off, but my wife wanted a 48" wide storage cabinet.
One side panel and one door were severely warped right out of the box. The specifications say "MDF" but the parts are made from the lowest quality particle board. The panels are also thinner than similar cabinets from other companies. The assembled cabinet is easily warped by simply pushing on a corner, even though all the joints were glued.
A dozen or so screw heads are visible from each side and the little white plastic dots are not a solution.
No extra shelves available.
I see nothing to recommend this cabinet.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JustMoved Good for a garage - can only hold light weight material
I wanted to use this as an office supply cabinet in my garage. It looks great in a garage. But seriously you would not want this in your house. It is cheap looking. Light weight construction. I bought the 48" x 72" cabinet. As long as I put light weight off ice supplies in it it is fine and meets my needs nicely. Took two hours to assemble using a battery powered screwdriver with two people!!! Give yourself lots of time for assembly.
Totally ridiculous that you can't buy extra shelves. It comes with way too few. I will have to buy additional wood and cut to order.

Bought this cabinet from Batesville Ar Home Depot. As usual another product brought to you by Home Depot that isn't worth hauling home. The thing is filmsey beyond belief. I screwed some cross support boards to the back so I could move it from assembly to the wall. They are made of particle boad and painted with a coating that resists repainting, so you're stuck with extremely bright white. Shelves sag and will require bracing before using them. Hinges are made from extremely thin metal and are easily sprung. JUNK!!
