Customer Questions & Answers

Installed screws in the 4 holes that lined up with studs. Do I need to put screws in the sheet rock only holes?

Seems like I am just punching holes in my sheet rock without actually adding additional strength to my install. I would really appreciate an experts point of view. Note: The installed screws are evenly spaced across the entire track.
Asked by: NoviceShelfHanger
Hello NoviceShelfHanger. It is finished in a silver epoxy and may be mounted directly to stud or concrete. This intended to be installed into the studs to maximizes the support. You should not need to add more screws. If you are still unsure of your installation, Closet Maid help line is 1-800-874-0008 Thanks for your inquiry. Charlotte
