Some shelving pieces were chipped even though there was no visible damage to exterior packaging.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Bill Good value for the price but be careful with the parts when assembling
I have bought 5 of these units because their size fits the space we have.
They are typical particle board with laminate finish materials.
They are a descent value for the inexpensive price by they need very careful assembly.
There are 2 things to be very careful about.
One is the little clear plastic shelf supports are quite fragile.
They will easily break off in the holes.
They are very difficult to install with your bare fingers because they fit in the holes to tightly.
So pliers are helpful but that makes it very easy to break them.
Especially if you put one in a wrong hole, which is very easy to do, and need to move it.
Since they are such cheap plastic supports and hard to install, and easily broken,
it would be nice to include some extras. But no extras are included, only the exact number needed.
Finding the right replacements is difficult and
the part broken off in the hole has to be very carefully drilled out so you don't drill a whole all the way through!
Secondly, when installing the backing corners,
small nails are included to nail the backing corners to the unit.
These nails need to be nailed in very straight.
If you accidentally nail them at an angle, it is easy to crack/split the edge of the finish and damage it.
And again only the exact number of nails are included.
Some extras would be helpful since they are small and easily dropped and lost.
I would prefer a full backing on the unit instead of just the corners.
With no full backing, the shelves very easily push out the back and don't line up in the front.
If you have short or no baseboards and can push the unit flush up to the wall,
it's not much of a problem.
But the feet are not tall enough to raise the unit above a normal height baseboard so the shelves push through.
Even with the unit flush up against the wall, the shelves push though a little bit,
the thickness of the backing corners

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by born2win I am very pleased with my product.
I am very pleased with this product. It is easy to assemble - I am a female and put them together by myself. I anchored them to the wall and also I used a screw through the sides of three units to attach them together. There was another review who complained about the shelves sliding when you pull your object out. This is true. But, I put nail glue on top of every peg and set the shelves on top of the glue/peg. In 24 hours, I had no issues. I also purchased the dresser and another stackable for another side of the closet. If you don't plan to anchor, I don't think this unit is for you because they will move. I did however have issues with missing parts. I purchased 5 stackable. Three boxes had no missing parts and two there were a piece missing out of each box. It my case it was not a show stopper but it did upset me a bit. HomeDepot delivered on time and delivery was fast.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DoubleGloves extra storage is afoot
After kicking my shoes around under the bed and stacking them in unsightly piles in the closet, these easy to assemble units were the ultimate storage solution. My size 13 shoes fit perfectly with sufficient space for dress shoes and work boots alike. I even purchased additional units for sneakers and golf shoes in our family's recreation storage room. My wife says my "remodeling project" is just beginning, headed beck to the store!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by onebratt Decent for in-closet shoe storage
Went together easy, is straight, wish they offered additional stackable smaller units so I could fill up the space. Another 12'-24' would be great.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by kbjohan Sturdy, functional stacking shelf unit
I tried for weeks to find a decent shoe rack to fit a weird corner of my closet and I finally tripped across this. HD had it in stock at my closest store, which was a benefit. When I got home and assembled them (I bought two to stack), I was very happy to find the directions exactly functional enough and the hardware of great enough quality to make a very secure, decent-looking stacked shelving unit that exactly fit the space I had. Once the feet were properly adjusted to the tile floor in the closet and the tower secured to the wall, it was rock-solid.
My only possible gripe is that the cam-locks are readily viewable from in front, but in my application it made zero difference. A very nice, stackable shelf unit.
