Simple basic design that works well with the prescribed braces. Shelving is wide enough to provide adequate storage and strong enough to support a moderate amount of weight if braced properly. I easily cut off about 8 inches of the rack to fit it in my laundry room. Material was easily cut off with a hand held "cutter" and attaching it to the wall was quick and easy. My wife and I had it installed in probably 15 minutes and that includes measuring and cutting the shelf. It's very light weight so easy to handle and hold in position.
It serves the intended purpose of proving shelf space PLUS the capability to hang clothes on it immediately after they were taken from the dryer.

The sales guy took the time to cut the shelving per the dimensions I needed. I was very surprised that the service was available it saved a ton of time not having to cut the pieces myself. I would definitely go back to Home Depot if I need more wire shelving.

We have a small older home and I have too many clothes. I wanted an extra place to hang my clothes and my brilliant husband came up with the idea of this shelf. With the new stud finder this shelf is in the wall nice and sturdy and I have a lot of extra room to hang clothes. Win, win win!!

This is the dumbest catalogue I have ever tried to use in my life and I'm in the business!

I read the positive reviews on this item, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it was until later that I came across the reviews for 12 in. Shelving Support Brackets and knew that I was in deep trouble, but it was already too late since I had bought and cut the shelves. The problem is the "support" brackets are are opened at the bottom and will release the shelf when you apply pressure at the top. Looks like they were mainly design to work with the close mesh but they later decided to make it generic. Terrible design from closet maid.

In redesigning closets for my daughters, we bought a couple of these for non-traditional purposes ... we flipped the shelves over so the hanging rail becomes a "lip" both as a slanted shoe shelf (use along with slanted brackets) as well as a high top shelf which avoids things coming down on top of my kids when they're trying to pull an extra blanket down. They work great for both purposes!

I cut this shelf to the size I needed and installed it in one of my pantry cupboards. It allowed me to store my canned goods on their sides, at an angle, to more easily view what I had. Worked out perfectly, this section of my pantry is much more organized now.
