I've been remodeling closets with ventilated wire shelving in every home I've lived in. It's functional, relatively easy to install and looks good. I've patched, painted, and installed three closets in my current house with two more to go. Recommended.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jd222 Great, multipurpose shelf!
In redesigning closets for my daughters, we bought a couple of these for non-traditional purposes ... we flipped the shelves over so the hanging rail becomes a "lip" both as a slanted shoe shelf (use along with slanted brackets) as well as a high top shelf which avoids things coming down on top of my kids when they're trying to pull an extra blanket down. They work great for both purposes!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Verified Reviewer Read before you decide to purchase
I read the positive reviews on this item, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it was until later that I came across the reviews for 12 in. Shelving Support Brackets and knew that I was in deep trouble, but it was already too late since I had bought and cut the shelves. The problem is the "support" brackets are are opened at the bottom and will release the shelf when you apply pressure at the top. Looks like they were mainly design to work with the close mesh but they later decided to make it generic. Terrible design from closet maid.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by WillingToTry Closet Maid Hanging Track System
I loved this Closet Maid Hanging Track System. I'm a single female with a bad shoulder. Did this myself, using a level, drill (could have used a thin nail and hammer to start hole in drywall), hammer and screw driver. I put up this closet on my lunch hour. Hung my clothes that evening. It's solid and I needed double rod hanging storage. This was a great option, but more expensive than the old metal bracing and end cap holders.
Home Depot Staff helped me select the right products and showed me how to cut to fit my closet measurements. I spent more time buying the product than installing it.

I cut this shelf to the size I needed and installed it in one of my pantry cupboards. It allowed me to store my canned goods on their sides, at an angle, to more easily view what I had. Worked out perfectly, this section of my pantry is much more organized now.
