The product you referenced is only the wire shelf itself. The hardware would need to be purchased separately. Depending on your particular use, we do offer pre-packed kits that include shelving and installation hardware. We've attached an example of a pre-packed kit, as well as the individual install hardware to this response.

Wire shelving can be cut using a bolt cutter or hacksaw. You can also have your local Home Depot cut it right in the aisle at no cost.

What is the weight capacity in total if spacing brackets 16 inches?

what is recommended spacing for the support brackets? If doing one ever 16 inches (9 in total for the 12 ft shelf) is the weight capacity only 100lbs

Answer: 
The recommended spacing for the support brackets is no more than 24 inches. Normally we see them placed on studs, so that could be 16 inches. ClosetMaid, though, does not test for weight capacity, as that does depend on mounting.
