Joining side and back wall

I have a 6' left wall and a 54" back wall in a walk-in. Using the design model, to maximize hanging space, it shows two 48" kits with Superslide rod on each.

In order to take advantage of the corner join, how would I integrate this corner closet rod? My "assumption" is that I'd have to cut a portion of each straight Superslide rod that came with the kit?

Answer:
Yes that is correct. You would just cut down the 2 rods just enough to fit in the corner closet rod.

Answer:
The rod is part of the SuperSlide storage system. Can be used on a corner of your closet to join two of the SuperSlide Closet Rods. You will also need to make sure you have 2 SuperSlide Support Brackets. One at each connection point. We will update the web page with an instruction sheet to give you a better visual.

Would this also work with a rod hanging from a 16" SuperSlide shelf?

It specifically says it is for use with 12" shelves, but I don't see why it wouldn't work with a 16" shelf going around a corner. As there is no 16" corner closet rod option, perhaps it will?

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great to maximize storage in small places This corner rod worked perfect to maximize the small space I have in my closet. This corner rod put that corner space to good use for hanging extra clothes instead of limiting my space. November 11, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by This makes if 'custom' This is a cool feature of shelftrack. I had some trouble measuring correctly when using two corners to go around the closet. The middle rod needs to fit pretty well or you'll see gaps. With a few trys, it came out great. February 4, 2015
