I lined my closet with these to grow plants on, which are lit with shop-lights (also from Home Depot). The shelves were very easy to install and work perfectly.

I used this as a replacement for a refrigerator shelf. Worked well.

Good looking treads, but they do slip a bit. Non-slide quality could be better.

Old walk-in closet had unreachable corners and ugly wood. Removed everything, patched, repainted and used Closet Maid to install linen and shoe shelves. Square corners are held together with cable ties because the rounded Closet Maid corners were too large. Closet is vastly improved with the Closet Maid stuff. For small, close shelves like mine, it helps to have your own bolt cutter to accurately cut shelving to size.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Billman A really good product.
This shelving is part of a ClosetMaid system and as such, I'm rating the whole system. I installed this system in my son's storage room on a recent visit to another state and it was a simple project. While not cheap, it is well made, easy to assemble with just the basics of skill and tools, and looked really nice when we were done. It should last a very long time for him. He was happy and we recommend it.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Tdc Good shelf, good price BUT
The shelf is well made, sturdy and economical. Here comes the BUT, the ends are sharp and easy to cut yourself on. The rubber tips to cover these will add about $5 to the cost of the shelf. You can also add another $18 or more buying brackets to put it up. This simple shelf can become pretty expensive.
I recommend this with the caveats mentioned above.
