Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Steve Buy any other brand of flashlight.
This is the second of two coast flashlights that i have literally thrown as far away from myself as possible (in 20 years of work as an electrician, i work in the dark a lot). Works fine for a week or so, then, press the button, light comes on, goes off, whack on palm of hand, comes on, goes off, change batteries, repeat. Try any other brand, i love Rayovac, Tectorch, Energizer. Everyone has been better than Coast in terms of quality and durability

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MachinistMaterials excellent small bright flashlight
After reading some of the review I felt compelled to add my own. I am a machinist and use the G25 in a mount to direct a spot of light where needed. It is the small straight diameter of barrel that allows me to do this. I have five of these, some may be a few years old.
One of the down sides of the round form factor of the design is that it rolls easily and ends up taking a three to four foot fall often on to concrete. These little lights have done this often and not one has died because of this abuse.
The second fault is corrosion. They are not air tight or water tight and do suffer over time, from internal corrosion. Removing the front end you will see the back of the LED circuit board connection. The center makes contact with the positive terminal of the battery and the outer ring makes contact with a spring. These both look to be copper and if they have a green cast, this is corrosion. Clean these terminals with a little fine sandpaper and your light may start working properly. A tiny bit of electrical grease might keep it from happening again for a while at least.
The threads are fine and aluminum on aluminum and the least bit of corrosion and these will seize up like they were welded together. Do yourselves a favor and put a tiny spot of oil on these threads... could as simple as Vaseline or chap-stick..
The best to all, I am off to Home Depot to pick up two more G25s

did not work all the time-had to constantly unscrew both ends and screw back together in order to keep it working and eventually it stop working.

I'm not totally convinced that the LED light are just as bright as old bulbs but it shines nicely.

Website info is wrong. They probably updated the design.
Bought this on 4/18/16. Package claims 120 Lumens and Run time of 3h 15m with alkaline batteries.
Seems to be nearly as bright with NmHi. Beam provides both Spot and Flood at the same time by having 4 LEDs 2 for each beam. B bit brighter than the Nite)Ize upgrade "LED Upgrade Combo II" in my AA Mini Maglite © Suspect its total lumens are more spread out since its not focused. Slightly lighter than the Maglite. Had to return a Coast Multi-tool and there was a $5 handling fee and postage one way, but they did stand behind their stuff.

It does what it's supposed to do. It turns on and illuminates the dark. It's a small, lightweight, and low CP light which I use for computer repair. Seems to be built well. It's only been a month, so only time will tell how long it lasts.
