Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Doresoom So bright, so vivid!
This flashlight is VERY bright. I'm used to using a 90 lumen flashlight, and this one is night and day (pun intended) different at 360 lumens.
There are a ton of great features on this light, from the rear rubberized button location to the slide focusing mechanism for the beam. It's a good weight and size for fitting securely in one hand. The aluminum body feels very sturdy and well made without adding too much heft to the flashlight. The battery compartment on the back unscrews to reveal a 4 AAA battery carrier with a rubber gasket for water resistance.
The low intensity setting is great for saving battery life, but the high intensity setting is where this flashlight really shines (I'm on fire with those puns, aren't I?).
The spotlight feature is incredibly bright, and it easily reaches all the way to the fence in my backyard, which is 50 yards away from the house. I tried taking pictures, by my phone camera just didn't do it justice at all. I could even clearly see the beam when I pointed it in the center of a sunbeam inside! I also discovered that the low intensity setting is just a pulsed duty cycle that my phone camera picks up in the video I took. Don't worry, you can't really see the "lines" with your eyes.
I have no doubt that any intruder at the receiving end of this beam would be completely blinded. I didn't test out the blinding capacity on myself, since I value my eyesight - it's almost too bright to look at the spotlight directly when it's trained on a white surface!
The focusing feature brings the light from a tight spotlight with a lower intensity "bullseye" to an amazingly even, wide circular flood pattern. There aren't really any dark rings associated with a normal focusing flashlight either, other than a very brief range where the intensity at the center of the spotlight dropped a bit. However, I haven't really found a reason to use the flashlight at any setting between full floodlight or full spotlight, so this isn't an issue. The focus can also be locked in place by twisting the front of the flashlight. While the slide focus can be operated with one hand, it's much easier to use with two. I can hear a gasket slowly venting whenever I adjust it, so it seems like Coast didn't overlook that point of possible water entry either.
There's a lanyard loop if you want to attach a cord to it, but if you're looking for a keychain light, this isn't it. The flashlight is a little too heavy/not low profile enough for that application. It's perfect for investigating things that go bump in the night or lighting your work area though!
The only downside I can think of is that the battery life on the 360 lumen setting is kind of low at 1 hour and 45 minutes. However, the battery life on the 50 lumen setting is a whopping 19 hours and 30 minutes. So if you're more concerned about longevity over power, stick with the lower power setting.
The lifetime warranty is also a great feature. The one review that mentions you can't service the LED is wrong. The flashlight came with an offer for a free replacement LED if the customer pays the shipping cost.
And finally, I was so moved by the power of this flashlight, I decided to express my feelings to the tune of everyone's favorite Gregory Brothers' song about rainbows:
♪♫ Double brightness settings visible all the way, across the yaaaard!
What does this mean? It's so bright and so vivid!
Spotlight option, floodlight option, it's soooo intense!
Yeah, yeah, so inteeeeense! Look at that spotlight!
It's soooo full of awe, I can't even capture it on my cameraaaaa!
Whoooooo, whoooooo that is the brightest light I've ever seen!
Yeah, yeah, look at that spooootliiiiiiiiight! ♪♫♪

The Dewalt drill was a very good purchase and the price was very fair. The drill has plenty of power and the battery stays charged for a good hour of use.

Very versatile flashlight. Like the easy focusing. Wish it was a little narrower since I like holding it between my fingers. Basically a great light.

One of the best flashlights you can buy...in a brick and mortar store. Many higher quality offerings near same price point from fenix, thrunite, streamlight. If you need a good flashlight NOW, buy this. If you can wait a week or 2, buy online and buy a real flashlight that is bombproof and even submersible.
Pros: Bright. Forward-Clicky switch. Adjustable beam. Uses common AA batteries (4). Seems tough. "Splash-proof."
Cons: H>M>L mode switching. Heavy. Beam only looks nice at full spot or full flood, it is "ringy" like an old school m*g-lite in between. Twist-lock doesn't really lock, it just takes more force to use. Light color is probably around 6k.
Full Disclosure: I am a flashaholic.

I cannot give this little light enough praise, I flip homes and many times when looking how to fix many problems you need a flashlight, this light is the best I have ever owned. Many homes I look at have no

I am a locomotive engineer, and I havent had this light long enough to give it a fair review. I have had it about two weeks and so far it has worked very well. This little light is extremely bright, and keeps a nice tight beam for a good distance. I will say it is a little heavy, but fits nicely in cargo pant pockets. Battery use, is really of no concern for me since work provides them free.. I have used it about a total of 2 hours on brightest setting and it seems to eat through batteries quickly. I would like it if the focus wasn't a push pull set up because its to easy to bump.
So here is my rundown,
Brightness a 5.
Size and weight 3
ease of use, 4 (not much for the duel settings)
Battery life. 1 very poor.

I had originally purchased this light for a friend because he just needed something for around the house. I'm a retired police officer whom is used to paying $250 plus for good law enforcement flash lights. When my friends light arrived and we tried it, I COULD NOT BELIEVE THE BRIGHTNESS! My backyard has all grass for up to about 75 yards till it hits the woods. This little light made every bit of the tree line light up to where no one could hide if they wanted too! First thing I did was walk back inside and order one for myself. For the $50 range, OMG its a great deal. I will be telling friends and ordering a few more for my car, house, and boat.

At this price, there are much better options available. Way too large, bulky, and heavy for the moderate performance it provides. Plus no NEMA FL-1 drop test or water resistance test data provided.
