Customer Reviews

LX250 Liner Lock Folding Knife is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from cheap knife, worth the money Pros: Light weight. Small overall size for a decent sized blade. Very sharp out of the box. Cons: The blade material is soft. Knicks easy. Burs-up with use and when attempting to sharpen. Nib for thumb-flip opening is in bad location and not particularly useful. The physical design of the knife isn't bad overall. It has a useful sized blade, but it's still easy to carry all day clipped to your pocket. It's very light, but the hinge has held up well, even while I was using it to escape from a commercial glass door that locked me into a room with the door-knob removed. This knife got me out of the room by turning the internal lock mechanism.. which required quite a bit of torque. The main downside is the knife is the material the blade is made from. The above escape routine put quite a few knicks in the blade.. far more than I'd have suffered with my much more expensive Benchmade. Overall.. I think it's worth the money because it has proven to be very useful to me. It's the easiest-to-carry knife I have. I'd never say it's a well made knife, at least not in terms of the quality of the blade material, but it's been a useful tool to me.
