We love the firepit and have enjoyed it quite a few times this spring. It looks great, includes a cover and includes a lid lifting tool so you don't burn yourself when you tend the fire. However, it missed the mark in two key areas where this lost a star
1.) Quality- Three of the screws didn't line up on the legs and alot of the metal was bent out of true.
2.) Screen mesh is too big - doesn't really stop embers
Still we like the look on our patio and it makes a nice controlled fire on our deck

The CobraCo Fire Pit is approximately 2' x 2' inside the pit. It's base is 6 1/2" inches up off the ground. It's base has openings all around it so you can feel the warmth of the fire regardless of where you're sitting. The lid fits easily on the pit and it comes with a long tool to lift the lid on and off after the fire is started, due to it become hot. The pit holds enough firewood to keep a fire going for hours without needing to add more wood.
It's sturdy and it only takes 1 person to move it if you wanted to relocate it or move it out of the way for mowing purposes. It comes with a vinyl cover that you can tighten and it fits perfectly over the unit. The manufacturer recommends putting a layer of sand at the bottom of the pit before adding wood or charcoal for your fire.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Verified Reviewer Nice looking, needs some improvment
This fire pit is really nice looking in the pictures and not super heavy. It arrived well packaged in a sturdy cardboard box. CobraCo put all of the assembly fasteners in a blister pack. I really appreciate when manufacturers do this because I don't have to dig through bags of random hardware to find the nut or bolt I need. I didn't realize when I selected this that the cover and poker are included with it. I thought it was just the fire pit by itself.
Now that I've assembled it and used it I have some concerns. First, each leg of the pit has 4 machine screws holding them in place. On one leg, I had to enlarge a screw hole with a reamer because no matter what I did it would not line up with the threaded hole in the fire pit. I tried putting it on the other three corners, leaving the other screws loose, etc. Nothing worked. So, if you don't have a drill and a reamer, or something else to enlarge the hole you might not be able to assemble it. Where's the quality control?
There wasn't a whole lot of welding done on the legs and the fire pit base itself. It looks like most of the welds are just quick spot welds. How long are these going to last? Especially when it is filled with wood. I highly recommend keeping it on concrete in and area where it won't sit in water for very long. The base of each leg is thin folded steel and I don't think it will last long.
The cover works ok, but is a little on the thin side and I almost tore it while trying to slide it over the top. However, it did stay firmly in place during a crazy wind storm we had thanks to its drawstring. You're going to want to keep this covered when not in use because rain will soak in to the ashes and rot out the bottom. The included log poker is pretty much a waste. It's too short and too flimsy to be able to really move anything around. Suggest buying something else that is more sturdy.
Appearance wise, I don't think it looks like the advertising literature but you can look at the pictures I took to judge for yourself. There are some quality control issues that I think at this price point should not be happening.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Aroyals Great Addition To An Outdoor Set
This fire pit is a great addition to an outdoor set. It's a good size, easy to assemble, and has a good size/weight proportion. The lift-off top is a good option & the designs in the fabrication on the sides make it more than just a steel box. I would imagine the longevity of the pit itself will be fine. I could see the expanded metal of the lid warping because of the light gauge. All-in-all a well rounded product.

I ordered this from HD website and got it took 10 minutes to build it
It has a lite black steel frame screened in.
I used it on one cool night burned live oak and enjoyed the fire
The mission fire pit like all steel will rust with time and use. A recommendation after each fire to use coconut oil and rub on metal screens and frame after fire has gone out to prolong the life of it

I like the fire pit. It looks great, is sturdy and really adds to my patio. At 28"x28" it holds a good amount of wood and makes a nice size fire.
To assemble you only need to attach the four legs with the 4 screws per leg. I did have one screw that didn’t line up with the threaded hole. I recommend to leave all four screws loose until all 4 are started. Then you can tighten them and move to the next leg. After I did that I didn’t have any other problems.
The pit is well built. The bottom has ribbed supports to prevent warping when it gets hot. The lid fits on easily and has wire mesh on it to keep the hot embers in the pit making it safe to use. A nice design that really helps the look of the patio and is the perfect size for a small to medium area.
It also comes with a lid lifter to remove the lid when hot and a vinyl cover to keep the weather off of it when not in use.
Great addition to the patio!

This fire pit is super simple to assemble. Each leg attaches to the main body with 4 hex screws.
The quality is not that great, but it is more than adequate for occasional use. The top mesh that catches embers is super thin and easily damaged, so you need to handle it with extreme care.
A single hot dog or marshmallow holder is included
A vinyl cover is included to protect it when not in use.
