Asked by: cold
30 inches wide, about a 2-2/12 inch lip around the whole thing and I would guess its like 8 inches deep? roughly.... note that I am not measuring this at this exact moment, will later though and if im wrong will make a note here

What's the bowl made of?

Is the fire bowl cast iron or just the stand?
Asked by: MarineOne
I believe just the bowl. the stand feels like a cheaper iron/steel that's painted black.

How do you assemble this?

This product was delivered yesterday. However, there were three of us who were unable to determine how to assemble this. The holes were only drilled into one of the sides of the black ring, not all the way through as shown in the online picture. The screws had nothing to screw into except for the open holes on the bottom of the black rings, but those did not hold them tightly.
Asked by: Confused
hmmm. Mine did, I would guess either they got stripped or they drilled too big of holes. Instructions were wrong in the photo. Mine were in French so I don't know what it actually said, that aside I went into the leg partion first and screwed into the wrings, smaller ring first with the single screw then top ring second with a little stretch to the legs ;)

Does it drain from the inside?

Asked by: nick
No, it does not drain. I had a friend come and drill holes in it for me.

Cast Iron Copper Fire Pit is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best one we've had yet. We are seasonal campers in NH who have a campfire at least 4 out of 7 nights every week from the middle of May until the end of September. This is the third fire pit we've owned in six years and by far the most durable and good looking. We do keep it covered when possible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smokin' Hot Birthday Gift Got this cast iron fire pit for my husband for his July 4th birthday. The material is heavy and seems like it will last a long time. I assembled the product myself in about an hour without too much trouble, even though I'm not very mechanical. The assembly tools were also provided, which made it a lot easier. Husband loved it and we lit a fire right away! The spark screen keeps things safe and the vinyl cover fits easily to keep it clean and out of the way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This fire pit is extremely easy to assemble and is very attractive! We have always wanted a fire pit to enjoy the cool summer nights and look forward to the fall when we can use it more often. This fire pit is a good size and everything burns evenly with minimal sparks outside the pit. Great purchase!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent design: manufacturing could be better I was surprised how heavy the box was. The box was all beat-up upon delivery, but the packing was good and the contents were not damaged. Because of the rough condition of the box it took me as long to clean up all the styrofoam bits and cut up the cardboard as it took to put together. I was impressed with the bowl when I removed it from the box. Nice and heavy and a great color. The design is good but the top brackets of the legs (where the the top of the legs bolt into the top ring) were not welded on very straight/square. Two of the legs fit very well. The third leg had the bracket welded at an angle so the top ring did not sit flat on the bracket. The fourth bracket/leg was worst of all. The bracket was welded on crooked and not centered on the leg. I had to grind down the diameter of the top of both bolts to get the edges of the bolt/head past the leg and into the ring. Then I had to put three washers under one side of the bracket to get things square. I was not impressed. I would suggest the factory improve their fixture where the flanges are welded to the legs. The flanges should also have wider spacing so if the flange/leg is not welded perfectly there is still tolerance to fit the bolt. I was fortunate to have the tools to make these corrections and get the thing together. Someone with no tools would have had to return this one, because it would not have gone together right out of the box. I was delighted to see a poker, a wire base on which to lay the wood, and a vinyl cover. My wife and I look forward to many evenings around the fire pit doing smores.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far so good Soooo if you have to have instructions to function you might be at a loss. The only directions in the box were in French. I took French and sadly couldn't follow it at all. Luckily there was a single bi-sected photo of how it goes together. This was wrong on the screw placement, however with only 12 screws (8 locations) you should get it no prob. Lastly the holes for the screws might have been quickly cut in china a little close to the leg portion as I had to use excessive force to get it to clamp down tight.. Also im glad the metal is a little flexible so I could stretch it tight to get the top rings in. Ok so a little work by myself (would of been easier with just an extra pair of sturdy hands) and once together the thing is stout, bowl sits in nicely, the screen just sits on top, bigger then the upper lip of the inside bowl but meh. Oh, and I haven't burned anything in it yet. Still finishing up my patio area.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from tabletime Fire pit is a pretty color and good size for my grandson and I to have a small fire and enjoy a hot dog or marshmallow on a stick. Bonfires are just too big for all occasions.
