What is the measurement of the width between the screws (for mounting on the wall)...is it 2.375" ?

I had a Kidde Model # KN-COB-B P/N: 9CO5 mounted already on the wall and it recently errored and cannot be reset so, I am trying to replace with a model that I can just hang up on the wall, without having to move the screws. Thanks for helping.

Batteries

What type of batteries does it take? AA ?
Asked by: Shelly
Most detectors take AA, but some also take 9V? The box/instructions they come with will always inform you of what they use.

I also prefer the ones that you can change the battery instead of the new ones now that are guaranteed 10 years without replacement. Just my preference!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Simple CO alarm for residential use We have ordered these alarm devices because our original ones died right at 10 year. Just as the label says. These devices are easy to install and they are very simple. The reason for3 stars is they don't fit tight on the screws, they kind of hang from our ceilings.
