Answer:
It is possible, as long as the light's power rating is within the capacity of the solar kit (18W). You will require a 12V battery to store the system's energy, as well as an inverter in order to convert 12VDC to 110VAC.

Answer:
For a 5 amp charge rate you would need in the neighbor hood of 80-100 watt panel and double that for a 10 amp rate simple math divide the watts by volts then add about 30-40 pct for panel inefficiencies and such

Answer:
Yes, you can. If your bird bath heater is less than 18watts this kit is enough. Else you have to connect multiple panels together to increase the output power.

Answer:
You can charge multiple batteries at the same time. You just need to hook them up in parallel to allow the voltage to get to both batteries.

February 20, 2015
Answer:
Yes. Both batteries will need to be connected together in parallel. At that point, you connect the solar panel, via its charge controller, to the positive terminal of one battery and the negative of the other battery.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great buy Keeps my camper battery charged with out having the hassle of listening to a generator. Great investment. December 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 12 Volt charger This 12 volt solar charger is placed on the south side of the roof with the provided mounting tabs and is used to power my solar hot water generator and charge up my various 12 volt batteries. The amperage output of the Solar panel is a constant 7 amps in bright Sun and my pump pulls 1.2 amps for about 2 hours a day so there is plenty of electricity to keep up a couple of 12 volt batteries. This a water proof item that you can place and forget. October 27, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works better than I ever expected. The unit came on time . It was easy to set up. I added 50 feet of lamp cord (18 gauge). It worked the first day it was sunny. It took my battery from 7.5 volts to 13 volts in 4.5 hours. The 7 Amp Solar Charge Controller worked well and took my dead battery from 7.5 volts to 13 volts to the proper voltage of 12 volts . The 18-Watt 12-Volt Solar Battery Charging Kit works well and anyone who has A car, boat, motorhome, or any thing that has a battery needs to have this kit. August 27, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Solar panel - great This is the 2nd one i bought, and i really appreciate the controller it comes with. Way to go Home Depot! August 25, 2015
