Really happy with my choice in cooler. It's perfect for what I need. Surprisingly strong & lightweight. Has a good capacity & keeps things cold all day. Mostly use it in the bed my pickup truck for drinks and small food things. I also like that it has holes in handles so I can secure it in the back. Gotta love it's made in the USA. Can deal without the cup holders on top

We like to go canoe camping for 5-7 days. Problem is coolers are not so cool at the end.
Did some online research and this one came out on top. And for good reason.
Our methods: freeze a gallon of water. Night before leaving chill the cooler with 5lbs of ice cubes. Freeze food that can be frozen. Bring an inch of pink foam insulation for under the coolers, keep cooler in shade. Make a "swamp cooler" out of old flannel sheets and water.
Results: after 5 days in the north Maine woods this July about 1/4 of the ice was still in the gallon jug. Our other cooler, the Igloo "max 5" cooler had no ice left.
Cons: the cup depressions in the lid are silly. They reduce the insulation and fill up with crud (I filled them with foam). The hinges are flexible plastic. We'll see how well the hold up. Compared to the Igloo cooler hinges which are also plastic-but are a real hinge, not just a piece of plastic that flexes. No included tray.
Pros: great insulation. The handles slide up and down, rather than swinging, which allows for better storage. The drain actually drains all the water out because of the design.
No doubt, the coolest cooler I've used. Isn't that cool?
