This 5-ply PureBond Cherry Plywood is rigid and flat, assembled with a soy-based technology and comprised entirely of natural wood to form a water-resistant project panel that will perform splendidly on any woodworking creation. The decorative face veneer is precision-cut from a cherry log harvested in the U.S. through sustainable means, making this a cost-competitive and Earth-conscious hardwood plywood. It exhibits the richness and allure of real hardwood with a smooth, patch-free face that can be stained to match your desired cherry hue. The formaldehyde-free PureBond technology will not off-gas toxic fumes over time, keeping your interior environs protected from airborne contaminants that commonly discharge from UF-treated plywood.

Answer:
Hello,
I would recommend the ¾” panel for a table top. Just know the Cherry veneer is thin – 1/50” thick. You will need to finish with a quality/durable finish.

Answer:
Hello,
Just a light sand is all that is required before applying your finish. The panel will not have any coating on it that requires stripping.

Answer:
Hello,
The images of the four colors are an example of what the cherry will look like with different colors applied by the customer. The colors are not something that you could choose.

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 46 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful cherry veneers Both sides of the cherry veneers on this 3/4" plywood are really gorgeous. It has 7 plies: 5 thick popular veneers inside (see my photo) and 2 beautiful cherry veneers. The box arrived with the plywood sandwiched in between two sheets of corrugated cardboard, inside a large, rigid box, so the corners were totally intact. The ply between the veneers is not the firmest material, but this shouldn't matter if you're just making through cuts in the plywood. This was strong enough to use for cabinet boxes for a small dresser, and I got the 1/4" cherry plywood to use for flat panels on false drawer fronts - they were a perfect match. May 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great custom cut and the company who did the work for HD made sure that it was the right size and it shipped quickly. It was to fix a cabinet that was damaged by movers and it came out like new. Thanks October 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I build furniture as a hobby. I needed two pieces of 1/4" cherry ply for the back of a case piece, and did not want to drive an hour-and-a-half to buy them, so I ordered these. I am happy that I did. They arrived well packed and 100% intact. One side is "A" grade cherry, the other "B" grade birch. I could not have asked for anything better, and would not hesitate to order again. October 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This is Pretty Plywood! The 1/4" 2' X 4' Cherry Plywood is a great product. The grain could not be prettier or more uniform, and there is a real natural look to the Cherry. Yes, the plywood is one sided, but the back side of the piece I received was not that bad. The back side of the plywood I received consisted of three uniformly joined straight veneer pieces. I'd have no problem using this sheet of plywood for a cabinet door panel. I did examine the edges of the plywood very carefully and could find no signs of splintering. Nice. Packaging was thorough and protected the plywood well during shipment. The box was made from heavier cardboard and the plywood was additionally protected by two panel sized cardboard liners. I am impressed with this plywood and would have no problem recommending purchase to a friend. July 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Consistent, Reliable Quality! I've always been extremely satisfied and happy with the plywood panels I've purchased from Home Depot. The Columbia Forest Products plywood is the best quality I've seen. It's solid, knot free, straight, no warping, no de-laminating, and looks good on both sides. I've tried over and over to take the easy way out, and attempt every so often to see if I could find good plywood panels within the stores, but always come away empty handed. Ordering the plywood is as easy as could be. Every time I placed an order, the panels arrived within a few days. Well worth the time and cost. Highly Recommended. June 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great looking piece of wood Very good product blemish free and took stain in an excellent fashion. Purebond uses a formaldehyde free glue for assembly for you that are cautious in this area, I am. You may have a limited selection and or supply at your favorite shopping spot. If so check their service desk and they can give you a list of wood choice and sizes available. Almost any supply store offer free shipping over $50.00 August 3, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice cherry veneers The cherry veneers on this 1/4" plywood are really pretty, on both sides. One side has straighter, tighter grain than the other (at least on the piece sent to me). The box arrived with the plywood sandwiched in between two sheets of corrugated cardboard, inside a large, rigid box, so the corners and edges were totally intact. The ply between the veneers is not the firmest material, but this shouldn't matter if you're just making through cuts in the plywood. This plywood in 1/4" thickness is ideal for something like a drawer bottom or the flat panel of a false drawer front. It is definitely not structural or intended for complex joinery projects. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by really nice material One side of this plywood is a nice cherry veneer that is reasonably thick. The veneer strips are bookmatched and not very wide, so the pattern has a lot of unnatural repetition. Only one side is usable, the other side is low-grade veneer that chips and splinters and is impossible to do anything with, but with 1/4" plywood, that's not really an issue, you won't use the back anyway.
