Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Sld3313 Nice enough for Furniture
I was really surprised at the nice smooth finish on this piece of plywood. One side is smoother than the other. It is nice enough to use for furniture. Since this was mailed, one of the corners was a little banged up. You can see the crunched corner of the box in the photo. Both sides of the plywood were clean and had no knots. The smoother side has one panel that is a little darker than the others. The Maple bond is about 1/32" thick. Since this is 3/4" thick, it is a nice heavy piece of plywood. I'd recommend this, but you'd need to check each piece of wood for flaws.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by joelav22 Really nice veneers
I got this to use as secondary material to make a few drawers. However It's almost too nice. The veneers have quite a bit of curl in them and would look great on a finished piece. Like with all the Purebond plywood I have used, this is free from plugs and I didn't encounter any voids in the cuts I made. The material is very stable and stays flat. I have been using this brand for years and have not had any issues with delamination.
The veneers are thick enough where I'm not going to sand through them and the cores are all hardwood. Good stuff, definitely recommended

I like to use these 1/4" project panels for drawer and box bottoms. This plywood is very stable and can be tightly constrained in a groove without wood movement issues. This adds a little rigidity to the frame (vs a floating panel)
It 's B4 grade, so one face will be much better than the other. On this particular piece, both faces were really good. The veneers are a little on the thin side, but fully workable.
I have not had any issues with delaminating veneers and I have yet to find a plug anywhere (on either face).

I'd be hard pressed to find a 2'x4' sheet of plywood as nice as this in a store.
This is one quality sheet of plywood.
I've been using Columbia Forest Products plywood sheets for some time, and the quality is always superior. The sheets are extremely well packed and arrive with no warping.
Their sheets have no voids, cracks, or rough edges.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with their products, and will continue to purchase their plywood whenever the need arises.

Really liking the look of this piece of plywood. Nice grain. Not too prominent nor is it curly or figured. Just looks good.
The project panel plywoods all appear to be of very good quality, and so is this one. I've yet to come across any significant voids or blemishes, only ran into one (on another sheet) and that was less than 1/32" and was in one of the interior plys.
Having it shipped is a great way to go. Comes packaged in good cardboard and sandwiched between two sheets of very still cardboard. No dings or frayed edges. I don't think I could pick one up at the store and get it home in the same condition.

I have been researching plywood to use for my new kitchen cupboard doors and drawer fronts and think I've found what I will be using. The grain on this plywood is very attractive on BOTH sides!! Something extremely important for cupboard doors. I'm not quite ready to jump into construction yet, but hope to soon. Looking forward to acquiring more of this plywood once I've figured out my cut diagrams and how much I'll need to buy.

Ordered 5 pieces of maple plywood (3/4" x 2' x 4') to be cut down and painted for shelving. The material arrived earlier than expected and in excellent condition. No dents, dings or broken corners. All 4 cut edges were square and in good condition with one or two very small voids showing. The panels were all a full 2 feet wide by 4 feet long. Both flat sides were sanded but one was obviously the better side, having no plugs or undesirable markings. The opposite sides showed a few dark color variations that stood out but I found no patches on these sides, either. After ripping the sheets to shelf width, I did find a few small voids that led to a quality score of 4 but I planned to edge-band the shelves and the voids were not a problem.
