Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Sld3313 Nice enough for Furniture
I was really surprised at the nice smooth finish on this piece of plywood. One side is smoother than the other. It is nice enough to use for furniture. Since this was mailed, one of the corners was a little banged up. You can see the crunched corner of the box in the photo. Both sides of the plywood were clean and had no knots. The smoother side has one panel that is a little darker than the others. The Maple bond is about 1/32" thick. Since this is 3/4" thick, it is a nice heavy piece of plywood. I'd recommend this, but you'd need to check each piece of wood for flaws.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by porchguy Pretty piece of plywood
Really liking the look of this piece of plywood. Nice grain. Not too prominent nor is it curly or figured. Just looks good.
The project panel plywoods all appear to be of very good quality, and so is this one. I've yet to come across any significant voids or blemishes, only ran into one (on another sheet) and that was less than 1/32" and was in one of the interior plys.
Having it shipped is a great way to go. Comes packaged in good cardboard and sandwiched between two sheets of very still cardboard. No dings or frayed edges. I don't think I could pick one up at the store and get it home in the same condition.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HappyGardener Good Quality Plywood for Projects
Ordered 5 pieces of maple plywood (3/4" x 2' x 4') to be cut down and painted for shelving. The material arrived earlier than expected and in excellent condition. No dents, dings or broken corners. All 4 cut edges were square and in good condition with one or two very small voids showing. The panels were all a full 2 feet wide by 4 feet long. Both flat sides were sanded but one was obviously the better side, having no plugs or undesirable markings. The opposite sides showed a few dark color variations that stood out but I found no patches on these sides, either. After ripping the sheets to shelf width, I did find a few small voids that led to a quality score of 4 but I planned to edge-band the shelves and the voids were not a problem.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SimplyLovelyLumber Love this!
I purchased a full sheet to use on some end tables that I was building. This wood is beautiful and I love that it is safe for my family. I used it for the bottom shelves and the tops of my tables. I ended up staining the tops with an Oak stain followed by just a little bit of Kona that I wiped off immediately. I ended up looking great! I would definitely recommend Purebond.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Transplanted Love Columbia Forest Products Plywood !!!
Columbia Forest Products provides some of the best quality plywood panels I've found in manageable sizes.
I've used both their Primed, and Unfinished Popular, and now this Maple panel.
I've not had an issue with anything I've received from them.
The packaging of each panel shows their attention to quality. Each panel sent to me was inside a very strong box. Sandwiching the panel was also stiff sheets of cardboard.
There was absolutely no damage whatsoever with any of the panels I've gotten from them.
Shipping, and receipt was super quick as well...Like, a few days!
This Maple panel has unfinished maple veneer on both sides. The grain is really nice, no voids, no cracks, no laminate separation, and no warping.
I would honestly be hard pressed to find as nice a panel in the store.
I'm looking forward to incorporating this into one of my projects.
Extremely satisfied, and Highly Recommended!!!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DavidTLAR Better than expected, but room for improvement
I ordered two of the panels for a desk top for a maple computer desk project. I wanted to look at the panels in the store to see what to expect, but they were not available. So I ordered on-line, based on the previous product reviews.
The packaging surprised me -- two 2x4' boards in a cardboard box...no protection, no plastic wrap, or bubble wrap of any kind. They were delivered on a misty day on the covered front porch of my house. When I got home to bring them in the house, the top of the box (the skinny end) was wet. I brought the box into the house and left it to dry until the next day. I took the boards out and looked them over -- a couple of small chips in the veneer on the edge, and the corners were less sharp than I would have liked. When I stood the boards up back to back I could see some warpage, a gap of about 1/4" in the center between the boards. Not happy, but I left the boards in the basement for a week, and they flattened out well.
Overall, a decent quality product for the price, good enough for my woodworking skills anyway. An small update of packaging for shipment would go a long way.
