Customer Reviews

Round Closed Front Toilet Seat in Dark Oak is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from It is Oak. They left out that it is liminated. this is oak laminated particle board. and particle board does not like water. It will start to separate after is has been installed. If it says Oak it should be OAK.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Would not stay tightened, stripped itself out, cheap hinges, and flat wood. Horrible

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than the one we had We had a wooden seat for years and then one day it cracked. So I got this one which doesn't seem to be as sturdy as the original one replaced but it is nice and the price was right.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the wood color Sturdy, looks great (I know is just a toilet seat) but it looks like I updated the whole half a bath.. I will recommend this product

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Round Oak Toilet Seat I am disappointed that the quality control was not very good. One large one inch spot on seat where stain was not wiped off. Where finish was applied I can tell not enough coats were put on since end grain is still open.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor hardware (CROSSBAR) THE CROSSBAR IS VERY THIN COPPER PLATED STEEL THAT CORRODED MAKING A PERFECT SEAT UNUSABLE IN JUST 2 YEARS. THE WOOD AND COPPER PIVOT HARDWARE ARE GREAT BUT THE CHEAP CROSSBAR KILLED IT.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very satisfied Color, texture, weight, and comfort all superior to our previous seat.
Date published: 2016-02-10
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hardware The hardware on this is pretty shabby - 1/4" screws - first one disappeared 2 weeks after installation - I presume it went down the toilet. A week later went to lift the lid and the whole thing came off - found another 1/4" screw on the floor. Needed to go buy longer screws and use loctite to make it usable. Only 1 person uses this once or twice a day so just poor design in hardware.
