3 lb. 3 in. White Wire Hooks (2 Hooks, 4 Strips) is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 187.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT damage free hanging I had bought these because I am staying on a university campus, where no damage can be done to the dorm room. The Resident Assistants are extremely strict about putting things on the wall. Because I did not have to drill anything, I figured that this product would be the perfect solution to hang curtains. However, following the directions to remove this product created such a mess. When I removed the product off the wall, it tore off a huge strip of paint. I am so disappointed because this company promises easy no mess and 'damage free' hanging. This was 100% damaged when I removed the strip. I will probably not trust anything from this company because I feel it will do the same thing again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use! I bought this for my dorm to hang various items on, like my purses, towels, and I absolutely love it. I truly recommend it for anyone that wants a easy to install, yet very durable hook! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not work as described Used this product to hang calendar. When removed to repaint the room, it took off a patch of paint where strip was attached to wall. I followed instructions, but it did not remove without leaving a trace. Disappointed and weary about using again on freshly painted walls.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from product failed I have tried 3 times and the product has failed 3 times to hold a hair dryer that weighs 1 lb. I am using medium hooks. the first 2 fails were with strips I purchased years ago, so I assumed the failure was due to old product. However, I purchased new medium strips with new wire hooks (17068) and they failed as well. they just fall off of the wall after 6 or so hours holding the dryer. Perhaps it is because the wall was painted within the last 6 months, but that is not noted as a problem on the packaging. I am an engineer by degree and am able to read and follow directions, which I have done. the project has simply failed in my application.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product These things are great. They really do pop off without harming paint, wall paper, or the surface they are attached to. They are very easy to remove, glue and all. Very easy to install as well. Basically sticking the sticky part to the wall, then the hook to the sticky part/wall. Things to note. 1. Read the label to see how much it holds. The large one holds “7 pounds” that’s probably about right. The little ones don’t even hold the weight of a cotton shirt. 2. during installation, be sure to read the instructions and follow them to the letter. They are very simple, very straight forward, and even have some pictures to make it easier to follow. Main steps to follow to the letter are. When you add the sticky part to the hook, and to the wall, hold it firmly against the wall for at least 30 seconds straight. After, let it stay there for 1 hour before putting anything on it. This will make it much stronger. 3. if you are worried about a chunk of wallpaper coming off with this, don’t be. All the times I have used them, the sticky part gives way long before any chunks of wall come off. However, if you have very old wallpaper that wasn’t installed properly (in other words, it is pealing and is easy to pull off) it might take some off of it. I don’t know, my walls are fine, but I have worked houses with wallpaper that’s very easy to peal off. This is a great hook for indoor use. Mainly light weight things. Clothes, accessories, etc. It can’t be an outdoor hook as rain and weather would dampen the strength of the sticky material. It can’t handle being a shop hook. It won’t hold the weight of tools, and the dust/saw dust will also dampen it’s strength. So just indoor use.
