In the house I lived in last Christmas, we rented. So we couldn't damage the walls or brick around the fireplace, but thanks to the command hooks we didn't have to. I purchased 4 of the large brushed nickel hooks and placed them on the bricks and let them sit overnight before hanging the stocking and the next day I got to hang the stockings up. Then come time for santa to show I filled the stockings with goodies and they never fell off the bricks. I was so impressed that they held up a full stocking of goodies and never came off the wall. I would recommend them to everyone, especially for those who rent and are not aloud to do any remodeling of anykind to the home.

Remodeling a older block home in St. Petersburg with painted cinder block walls. With Command products, I can add functional accents, decoration and organization without the labor and trouble of drilling and plugging holes everywhere.
When a new design or whim arises, there is the simple removal and fast, (did I mention fast?), redo with amazing results everytime!
Best thing about Command products here in Florida is that they are available almost everywhere in all colors, designs and types to meet our needs. The dolar value makes great sense too when you consider you never have to clean up, spackle, fill or sand a Command hook or accessory. Ideal for those renters who want that security deposit in full too!

I purchased the large metal hook for my daughter's room, as I wanted to hang a few of her empty (yes empty) handbags on it. These bags (3) were not large, and were not equal to 5 pounds. My husband followed the directions, everything looked great. A few days later, not only did the handbags and hook fall off the wall, but it also took off the paint. So, assuming we did something wrong, we followed the procedure again. Once again, after a few days, same thing happened. Needless to say, I will not use this product again. Now the wall has to be patched and painted. So much for this supposedly great product.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by DinTX Just what I needed
I recently moved into a new house with a very oddly shaped master bath. The shower stall is on one end wall, separated from the tub by a door that leads into a walk-in closet. The towel bars are over the tub, so you have to get out of the shower and walk across cold tile floors to get the towel. There is no wall space to put another towel wrack. Putting one of these hooks on the closet door solved my problem. Now I just put the towel on the hook before I get in the shower and just reach out the door for it when it's time to dry off. No more wet tile floors.

I have an armoire that sits about 6 inches from the wall on one side. I attached a command hook on that side to hang the purse I am currently using. It is easy to grab but concealed from site. My other purses are on command hooks in my closet. This way I always know which purse is loaded, is easy to grab, and the hook did not ruin the wood on my armoire. When I am ready to move my furniture around, I can easily remove the hook and place it on the other side or on other furniture if needed. And the best thing is it is strong enough to hold my loaded purse.
