Just bought one to hang a shower caddy but realized we hung in the wrong place. Will buy "replacement" sticky strips that are available and relocate on our new tiled shower. Have used them for pot holders and pictures with caution but have never been disappointed when using common sense with weight and going by the directions. I've never had it pull off paint but I don't have the drywall. Make sure you use ones that look like they would hold that kind of object or it will loosen before you even try to remove them. They're specific. I'll keep buying them.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by WeldrBrat Even on a Log Beam!
First time we've tried these. Cleaned the log beam (with alcohol per instructions), which my husband constructed and finished w/water-based sealant. Were it not for the fact that we only needed them for the holiday decor... I think they would have remained, permanently! Slow, consistent... two words golden to removing them. The sticky tab in the back WILL stretch and BREAK if you pull too hard and fast.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by FunctionOverForm Perfect for textured tile
I used these hooks to hang just about EVERYTHING in our bathroom. We have textured tile, so suction cups would not stick. I have hung small caddies, washcloths, towels, bags of toys, but have not tried it with more heavy objects, like a soaking-wet towel. I'm hoping to get more and try it out with a laundry caddy.
I am very impressed with how small and unnoticeable it is, but still so strong. And super-easy to use.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Buzz They kinda work...
They stuck to the wall good when I first put them up. I used them to hang a plastic clock on the wall (needed 2 hooks) and a calendar. The clock actually fell off the wall just a couple days before getting the request for this review, and the calendar fell sometime during the day today while I was at work. So, I'd say these don't work very well.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HockeyMom54 Excellent product for the Holiday Decor!
This product, when used as instructed, does a wonderful job holding up wreaths, garland and even stockings full of goodies inside the home. Not meant to place on glass surfaces such as windows due to the temperature change will cause them to loose their grip. Wood, metal, plasic holds them very well.

I bought these to hang our stockings this year. I'm sure the weight was over the .5 lb rating on thepackage but we had no issues with them coming off. I still haven't tried to remove them so we'll have to wait and see if there is any residue left behind.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TimandEileen Great Small Strong Hooks
We used these outside on our porch to hang Christmas decorations. Easy up, hopefully easy down, if we decide to take the hooks down. Strong too, ornaments hanging from them, and so far wind and rain haven't brought them down.
