200W Warm White 2800K Circline CFL-DISCONTINUED is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from fine bulb, but why online only? This is a replacement bulb for a fixture purchased at Home Depot, yet it is only available online with the usual high shipping cost. Why can't it be stocked at the stores? It's almost less expensive to buy a new fixture than pay for this expensive bulb and shipping.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor performance Had to order since this bulb is no longer carried in the store. Cost as much to ship as the cost of the bulb. I ordered since i did not want to replace the whole light. Lasted only 2 months. To bad to store would not have one shipped to the store. I suppose they hope I purchase a new light.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from OK, but wish they were cheaper Pros: It's good that it's actually still on the market. I'm only saying I will recommend this, despite the low rating/score, because if you have a ceiling light fixture that uses these bulbs and wish to keep it, you're going to need to bite the bullet and buy these bulbs anyway because no other bulbs are supported. Cons: After a couple years of use, it might get hot enough to melt/warp one of the three plastic clips the light fixture uses to "hold" the double-bulb in place. One finds after shopping at Home Depot and stores like it that especially in the ceiling light fixture market, products are generally on hand for approximately two yeas, and then Home Depot stops carrying them. The other thing is quite often manufacturers don't stick to standards so seems almost every fixture uses a different kind and make and rating of bulb. And good luck if you're trying to replace any other part like the ballast or plastic clips on your light fixture because you'll not likely find any of them at Home Depot. They'll usually carry the fixture and expect you to replace the entire fixture every year or two. Bulbs, whether they be this double-ring style (which is sometimes hard to even find at Home Depot and gets harder and harder to find at most other stores like OSH and Lowe's and ACE Hardware) or the long bulbs w/the four pins, tend to die once a year, so I advise when getting a light fixture that you hope will last more than a couple years, to buy spare bulbs at the same time, because they will go out on you and you'll get lucky if the bulb lasts you more than a year. I personally think it's part of their disposable economy way of thinking and getting you to keep buying their products over and over, but I don't know. With regard to the plastic clips that melt/warp after a couple years of use, interestingly the clips are replaceable. Problem is Home Depot doesn't carry such clips. Granted, it's hard to carry replacement parts for every brand, but if the light fixture and lightbulb industries would just work together on a standard, they wouldn't have to be designing new bulbs and bizarre clips any more. And what's up with using plastic mounting clips instead of metal for bulbs? I had to go to eBay to find and purchase replacement clips. I expect in six months to a year that I won't be able to find these bulbs at Home Depot. After that, if I keep this light fixture I like, I'll likely need to buy everything online.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like the features of a warm instant bright light. Could not find this replacement light at any of the stores in my area. Due to fact that it is only available on line, the shipping cost adds to purchase price significantly. It is ,however, an exact fit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very easy to install This is a replacement for the original light that lasted almost 6 years. Emits a very nice light - not harsh white light. we bought two of them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Never got a chance to use it. On line reviews said this bulb was no longer available In HD stores so I ordered it on line. It took about 10 days to get it. Once installed it did not work. I do not know if the bulb was bad or the fixture. I had an extra fixture and simply replaced it. After I replaced it I saw the same bulb in a local store. Would have been nice to see if the problem was the bulb or fixture.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect light for our kitchen. This is the second light of this type I've used in the kitchen. It's bright and cost little to leave on for longer periods of time. The only problem I had was,I could not find one in stock on the shelve anywhere in Wilmington and finally ended up ordering online at Home Depot. The sales person was very helpful in locating it for me and ordering it.
