There is nothing really spectacular about this fixture. I mean what do you expect really at $35? Its cheaply priced, easy to install, and works as expected. It seems to be holding up good from my own experience and using proper bulbs is very bright.
The bulbs lock into place as they should using a standard slip it in and turn the bulb style of mechanism.
The cover diffuser, on my fixture, does not randomly fall out or even fall out when the light is even bumped or anything. In fact the diffuser really as to be manually taken out or it will not come out. I only point this out because I have noticed a bit of diffuser hate in some of these comments and I think it is important to note that mine is perfectly fine.
I have been using mine as a hanging fixture for indoor garden plants. As you can imagine this light does get bumped around a bit. The light is working pretty well and like I said before the diffuser on mine never gives me any trouble. Buying the proper bulbs is really important to getting bright lighting.

The design of the fixture housing does not properly support the diffuser. The instructions say to raise one end of the diffuser into the end cap of the fixture, raise the other end into position and then slide it back the other direction into the opposing end cap. It is not possible to see if the diffuser is perfectly centered. If it is, there is only 1/8" of support on each end. If it is not, the lens will fall out. The slightest vibration or air current will cause the diffuser to fall out. I have had one fall out and break within 2 hours of installation. If one falls on me while I am working on the table saw it could be a disaster.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by fixit Good light but cover too short
I purchased two of these for my garage. I wanted the three bulb setup to give more light than the two bulb lights I was replacing. The installation was quick and easy. The lights do provide me with a brighter garage than the original two bulb design. The only downside is the light covers are too short. There is only 1/8" overlap for the plastic light cover to rest on the fixture. In two days of opening and closing the garage door, one of the covers fell down. Luckily it didn't break. I'll have to bend the metal fixture or glue some type of "extension" to the plastic cover to make a snug fit.

The covers fall out. This last time one of them fell and cracked and I cannot find a way to replace it. Not worth the money or the effort.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by John Really nice light
Installed this thing in an older motel laundry room which was depending on 60 watt equivalent CFLs. What a difference!! The employees couldn't believe they could actually see what they were doing and the owner couldn't believe the energy costs were actually lower. He will likely break even, including my labor for installation, in under a year.
I did have to convert it to a power cord sans hard wired which increased the installation costs.

Good light for the price, met expectations, interior wiring was on the light side but it's not a big draw so meets expectations. Will have to see over time if the lower power draw makes this better than large bulb version (this was t8 vs t12) to warrent additional expense. Biggest issues is that getting the light cover on takes a little wiggling to get in place without chipping it.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Creampuff good quality, tricky to install
Recently bought and installed 5 of these in my unfinished basement. They look good and are rigid. There are several issues I didn't like: there is very little space for the wiring. In fact, the light has warnings about using higher temperature wires because of the close proximity to the warm bulbs. Unlike the bigger 4 bulb lamps, there is no open center with a built in wire cover. It doesn't come with wire nuts so I suggest using the smallest you can get by with since space is limited. This also means the incoming AC wires have little space. I found it best to keep the bare minimum wire inside the lamp area. The wire knock out hole is firmly attached and can cause problems trying to remove the smaller 1/2 center hole, be careful. The mounting holes do not align with ceiling joists 16 inch on center. Since they don't align with joists, you will need to drill two holes for mounting. Not an easy task while holding the light with the other hand. Being a 3 light fixture I'm sure it will be hard to find a replacement ballast when I need one. The clear plastic diffuser is held in place simply by being physically longer than the light housing. That means you will have to CAREFULLY flex the cover to slip it in place. They look good but I haven't owned them long enough to rate their dependability. This light has a lot of issues and if you don't have the patience or skills to deal with them, I would avoid these lights. In my case, I have limited installation space between air ducts and a suspended gas line, so I had to install a 2 or 3 bulb light. If you're looking for a quick and easy install, I would not recommend these lights. Since I have a lot of experience, this is just another install.
