Answer:
This product is only a decorative trim. There is no light source coming from this product. The light source will come from the separately purchased light bulb that installs inside our decorative trim.

Answer:
As you plan your lighting, here’s something to keep
in mind: the area of floor space illuminated by one
recessed light is directly proportionate to the
height of the ceiling where the light is installed.
For example, the light emitted from a 7’ ceiling
will cover a 7’ area on the floor.

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Light Baffle Trim The trim units looked great, but they did not have all of the pieces (springs, hooks, etc) that most baffle trim pieces come with. It seems that they are made to be compatible with one light fixture, and if you are working with another brand, they may not work. I did some modifications, and was able to make them fit appropriately, so now they are installed and look good! February 10, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Decent product Looks great! Mostly easy to work with except the side spring clip of one unit was malformed and popped off the trim piece whenever I tried to install it in the can. Trying to bend it back to shape did not help. Put aside that one for now and will likely get it working when I need it or return. September 30, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Simple to use and clean lines We are in the midst of finishing off part of our basement. My husband installed the light fixtures and we ordered these in store but online. I was able to pay with Paypal- extremely easy and convenient. No charge for shipping either as the store had limited supply! The salesman walked us through the process-easy! The light trims came about a week later and we put them on that night! Super easy! Looks great-clean and neat! October 8, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Affordable option for trimming out a can insert This 5 in. white baffle trim is pretty bare basic but is still enough to finish out recessed lighting. Unlike other trims I have throughout my house this does have a more squared to the ceiling edge rather than a taper. Because I installed these all in a room by themselves it works just fine and looks good too. I was just in the process of putting recessed lighting in my living room when I received these. Prior upgrades to my house lighting included just purchasing a LED light kit with baffle attached but that can be a rather expensive alternative, these work just as well with the proper light bulb. They are straight forward as far as installation...there are clips that hook into your installed housing (can) and push up inside to create a finished look. After that you just install your choice of can light. Easy, affordable, highly recommended solution to lighting needs. January 18, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by know the project before starting. Recessed lighting is a big project, and requires many different components, and a good bit of skills. Before even buying anything, make sure you know the cieling both inside at out (literally). If you are installing to a cieling with the attic above, no problem. If you are installing to a cieling with a floor above, make sure you know how thick the cieling is. (I.e. a 10inch recessed light would stick out of a 6 inch thick cieling by 4 inches). The process is exhausting, but still doable. It involves drilling big holes (check to make sure you won't hit any wires, plumbing, or main support beams first), installing the individual light installation, installing wires (running wires, sautering wires, connecting, testing, etc) cleaning the hole, and hopefully it works. For what these are, they don't really stand out from other recessed lights, but they are equal to. Would I recommend these? Yes. But only as much as other light housings, depending on what color, size, etc you are going for. February 15, 2013
