There are similar tools with a spring to reopen the jaws, which makes them easier to use. All strippers of this type must be adjusted for the wire size being stripped with a machine screw and nut. the scrw and nut moves too easily in the adjustment slot, making it difficult to get it into position to tighten it and test it for size. Adjusting for wire size is made more tedious by the tendency of the screw to move while it is being tightened. Adding a star lock washer helps a little. A nylon lock nut might be better.

Works great for small wiring projects. We use them all the time around the house and work shop.

Always need to have this type in your arsenal. Love using this for network wire or other similar small wires. Grips right without ruining those small strips you have to do. Not too expensive.

These don't look like much but they work great. Very simple, very easy to use, and have an adjustable stop if you need it. I have probably put 2000 wires though mine and they still work great. They are the perfect size to carry around, put in your pocket, or throw into a small bag. They just work.
