Recommendations on the product is 2.5 oz per gallon which works for me but, it takes a good week before they start showing signs of dying, and brown and crispy in 2-3 weeks. My last spray I used 4 oz per gallon and it was showing signs of dying the very next day and was crispy by 1 week. I would recommend using 3-4 oz per gallon unless you are ok waiting 3 weeks for it to be completely dead.

Answer:
Poison Ivy, and sumac are listed by this product. Plants with a waxy leaf type coating resist absorption of Glyphosate so you may have to mix it a bit less diluted and spray the plant a second time about 2 weeks later to assure a complete kill. Older, more heavily rooted plants sometime need double application. But generally I had very good success getting rid of poison ivy using this product.

Hello Damoly. Absolutely! Will take between 1-2 weeks for it to be noticeable. This stuff kills whatever it contacts so be careful. Also be careful not to spray right before any anticipated rain. Hope this Helped

The Company's Dilution Ratio is 1.5oz per 1 Gallon of water in a Tank Sprayer for normal easy non tough weeds... And 2.5oz per 1 Gallon of water for tough weeds... (I can always spot those they're wearing Leather Jackets) - I mix up approx 3 Gallon at a shot because of my Spray Container holds that much. I measure out 8-10oz for a full Sprayer Fill.

My experience is to lean towards the safer side, So NO, this isn't safe around kids or pets until it has had the time to dry onto the plant or where you sprayed.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by weed killer This is the best weed killer on the market. I use it every year and get great results every time. I would not waste my money or time using anything else. May 10, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by As good as Roundup Been using this for 3 years. Works great on everything from normal weeds to light brush.1.5 oz/gal kills most weeds in 5-7 days. Stronger = faster. May 7, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not the quickest !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bought the Grass and weed Killer thinking it would be a a great value but I'm doubting it now as the weeds that I needed killed took more then 3 weeks to start to die and two sprayings the second one I doubled the dose Not impressed at all April 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Save and Effective I have 3,000 acres where I manage weeds. This is my number one tool for that purpose. It is effective on most weeds. It works well with drill and inject, cut stump or spray. Don't expect to see wilting or other signs right away. The mode of action doesn't produce immediate effects. But ten days to two weeks later all the weeds are dead. The trade-off is that this is the safest herbicide I have found when used as directed. The LD50 of 5,000 is midway between NaCl (3,000) and H2O (7,000). The short residual allows for planting or recruitment of other plants right away. No motility means it stays put and will not travel through the soil to desirable plants. Of coarse, always follow label directions and use PPE. March 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works well and inexpensive! I have used this product before. The last container that was shipped to me had an inner seal under the cap to prevent leakage. Not so with the recent one. Although sealed in a plastic bag, the cap was seeping. Not a good place to "save a buck " during manufacturing! February 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This product has the finest ingredients that is permitted for the public to purchase minus any type if license. This product has the finest ingredients that is permitted for the public to purchase minus any type if license. I have been using this product for seven years and it has always preformed as publicized. It performs as well as the most high-priced products on the market for a considerable reduced price. I recommend this product to all who need this type of product at a reduced cost and in a greater quantity than the more costly products that have those well-known names. This product performs as well as all of those familiarly advertised products we all see on television. April 17, 2014
