Answer:
I haven't experienced it. But the main ingredient is sodium carbonate (not sodium bicarbonate-very different). Sodium carbonate used to be called washing soda. It may slightly bleach delicate fabrics. I'd test a spot that won't show first. Might as well just throw the clothes in the washer. Most detergents will suspend mold and spores and send them down the drain.

Hi Tmj. Thank you for your question and interest in Concrobium products. Concrobium Mold Control is EPA-registered for and effective on both hard and fabric surfaces, including wood, drywall, tile, stone, cement, masonry, fabric, upholstery and virtually any other household surface. This includes clothing. We do recommend with the introduction of any cleaning solution to a new surface you should always test it on an inconspicuous area first. When Concrobium Mold Control dries on the moldy surface it encapsulates and crushes the cells right down to the root structure of the mold spores. While you may be used to using bleach or bleach-based products that whiten the mold stain, this product contains no bleaches or whiteners so there should be no negative impact to the color of the fabric after use. that's similar to a situation I had - but I did not have a lot of odor. I removed as much of the black mold as I could by scraping it off - and got most of it. The Mold Control stopped any from coming back.

Answer:
Yes, I used it on painted drywall. Spray on generously. Wait at least a day for it to dry and kill the mold/mildew. Scrub with a chlorine bleach mold remover. Spray Concrobium again to reduce future growth. Even better, then use an anti-mold/mildew primer and repaint.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Its just baking soda and water It works ok for alot of applications but not everything. All they did was put baking soda and water in a spray bottle, put John Holmes picture on it and charge you $9. HD sells both for a total of $3. If you dont believe me just look at the label. Sodium carbonate is the active ingredient in baking soda. Do yourself a favor go here http://blackmold.awardspace.com/kill-remove-mold.html and figure out the best option for your situation. I found it to be truly helpful. August 1, 2016
