Hi wally. Thanks for your question and interest in Concrobium products. Although Concrobium Mold Control is effective for use in crawlspaces and on various surfaces alike such as hard, porous and even fabric we do not recommend application to soil or dirt as it is quite porous and dense. Concrobium needs certain factors to be in place for effective treatment one being that it needs to come in direct contact with the mold in order to effectively treat the area. Based on the nature of soil, it would not be an effective treatment especially since the amount of product required to saturate deeply into the dirt might cause access to another moisture source and may in fact simply feed the mood. The key is to dry out the space as best as possible and ensure to control the conditions in the space so it remains as dry as possible in order to inhibit more mold growth. Read Less

Hi,
Thank you for your question and interest in Concrobium products.
Fogging will give you the greatest coverage – 1 gallon will cover approximately 1,400 sq. ft. of total surface coverage. Raw construction materials like drywall, wood products and cinder blocks will be more absorbent than painted surfaces or smooth surfaces like vinyl or poured concrete. So 5 gallons will give you approx. 7000 sq. ft. Read More

If you choose to use a traditional pump sprayer then you will get around 2000 sq. ft. of coverage with 5 gallons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! It performed miracles for me! My walls were absolutely covered in mold after a week long flood in the house, and where other contractors insist that we rip out all the sheetrock and start over, over less than a week, Nial and a couple of gallons of your wonderful product saved my home! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best product ever! I bought this product because of the reviews. I had a serious mold issue in my bathroom that bleach did not do anything for. I bleached numerous times but the mold continued to come back. My daughter is allergic to chlorine so each time she would have to stay at her father's house because she couldn't use the bathroom. I sprayed the Concrobium Mold Control all over the Shower and bathroom walls within a few hours it got rid of the mold. I did have to scrub a few spots but it worked. I rinsed it off even though it says it doesn't need to be. I reapplied the Concrobium and have not had any issues since. I even used it on my shower curtins. I reapply as directed on the bottle not as often I find I don't need to. Great product I even went back an purchased a gallon jug this stuff works wonders. I have some lawn chairs I'm going to try it on next.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It really works I've used this product for years. Lots of moisture issues in my basement - mold used to grow on baseboards, in furnace room, around windows - pretty sure even in carpeting. Used MOLD CONTROL to take off the mold the first time and now I just spritz it occasionally and mold never grows back. Only time product didn't do the trick was on cement/foundation mold stains. Scrubbed with it but not all stains came out. Mind you mold hasn't grown back there so I think the product has probably done it's work. Stains just not 100% gone. If they had disappeared I would have given 5 stars. PS Love that this product is safe and doesn't smell bad. Sorry for long review.
