Best hose I have had - all others kink or split. Full rubber and quality connections/hardware made it an easy choice. I hooked two together to make an even longer hose (100 ft.) because it only came in a 50 ft. size. Wish Home Depot also carried a shorter 25 ft. version of this hose.

This is definitely one of the worst hoses I have every had. If you coil it in any way it will kink horribly unless you carefully uncoil it. The hose it replaced rarely kinked, even after having been left outside in the Texas sun for years (I finally had to replace it because the hand sprayer corroded onto it). This hose started kinking as soon as I removed the packaging and began coiling it into our hose basket. And it has had multiple kinks every time I have used it. After only 3 weeks I am looking to replace it.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by StephofEasley It kinked in 3 places its first time out
I finally broke down and bought this new hose. I was using it to hook up a sprinkler and run it to the front of my lawn. I removed the packaging and started stretching it out and it kinked, so I got that out and it kinked again, and again. Not kinking is the most important thing to me in a hose. I got aggravated with it and decided to leave it out in the yard for a minute while I worked elsewhere in the yard. It must have a smell dogs love or something because within 5 minutes, my dog completely bit through it in 4 different places, so I couldn't even return it. I don't expect a hose to withstand a dog bite, but I do expect it not to kink when brand new.

A bit on the expensive side but well worth the cost. Great flexibility, no kink, easy roll up and storage.

You WANT a real rubber hose. The two I have already are 25 years old and counting. Don't buy any of those cheap vinyl hoses. And don't buy any of those fancy plastic hoses, either that cost just as much as this real rubber hose if not more.
Quality fittings, too.
One small issue: When the hose is not under pressure, it kinks very easily. Run a little water first to prevent kinking.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by foxtwo Buy the Never Kink Instead
Not the best choice. It is heavy duty, but has a tendency to kink quite often. The Never Kink is a better deal-and costs a bit less. The down side is you may have to order the Never Kink on line.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Niles Connectors came off! On two different hoses.
I liked the hose and the solid brass fittings. I used it almost every day for 3 weeks. No problems with it kinking.. HOWEVER, the fittings on two different hoses have completely came off. The crimp failed on the fitting. I returned the first hose for an exchange and 3 days latter the second hose failed. If you buy it, Don't plan on pulling the hose across your yard. The tension will pull the connectors off.
