These work great. We used pliers to snap them together. Easy once we did this.

I used these clips to attach cord to my shade cloth. They're easy to install and appear to be standing up to the tension. I'm using them to attach spray shields to my sailing kayak. In 15-20 mph winds the waves hit the shields they put quite a strain on them but they're holding very well.

The gripping teeth and holes do not line up and the gripping teeth are difficult to attach (poke through) the shade cloth. Once you do get the teeth through, it was difficult to get the teeth into the 'holes'. It took us a pair of pliers to get the teeth to 'snap' into the holes. If you were able to get everything together, it worked. But, it wasn't as easy as advertised.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by fladeacon Very easy to use!
Used these clips to fasten the fabric to the side of my house. I actually ran a cable through these clips which are attached to the fabric, then attached the cable to the house by looping it onto hooks screwed into the wood. Works great! The clips are only big enough to go through one layer of fabric, so do not expect to fold the fabric and use these through multiple layers.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Chekika These work fine
I purchased a package of these to use with Coolaroo shade cloth (64-70% shade). They were reasonably easy to attach to single thickness of cloth. It would be hard to attach them w/o use of pliers. I cannot speak to durability, but I will be using them in a lot of sun.
