Answer:
Unless you dog is mate of solid lead or something, if your dog can lie down and fit comfortably within a two feet by three feet space , he or she should be nowhere heavy enough to damage this thing -- it's built very thick and tough.

Yes. It was either 50 or 60 lbs, but it comes in a large, too. You just have to check the specs when ordering.

In reading all the reviews, which I always find very helpful, large dogs fit on the large Coolaroos and medium on the medium size. I would think your dog would fit the medium size unless he's unusually long. It's about 7 inches high so most dogs jump easily or climb easily onto the bed. Cats like it too! This pic is a medium size! Hope this helps!

Answer:
My pups are about 55 - 60 lbs and the Medium suits them fine. The bed is quite strong so that should work. If you have a larger dog the main concern is more with them fitting on the bed than it holding the weight.

It's no higher off the ground than your bulldog's belly, so getting on it shouldn't be a problem, but I'd keep it up against a wall so it doesn't move around while she's getting on and off. If it doesn't, just disassemble it, repackage it properly, return it to HD and go for a large -- but a large should definitely do it. I would personally rate this bed for a dog no larger than Shih Tzu. Read Less

My dog is 29lbs. I bought a medium size. The max weight was either 50 or 60 lbs. You should get the large in case he gains. It will be bigger all around so there's more room for him to stretch out.

I don't know -- only the company knows that, and I'm just a customer. But I do know it was in-stock as of my purchase one month ago. Maybe they let you sign up your email to be notified whenever it's avabilable again.

My order was shipped from California so I don't know why they wouldn't be in stock. Home Depot has the lowest prices, but other places do sell them. Run a search to find where they are sold. Good bed for cats too!

I have two (2) very small Chihuahuas. They weigh 2.2 and 2.9 lbs. I'm sure they can both fit on the medium size, but they do not always like to share. Lol Does it come in a size small?

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Really Cool Coolaroo Pet Bed The Coolaroo Pet Bed was easy to assemble by myself, with just a screwdriver. The price was great, and I had it delivered to Home Depot for free! "Dottie," a rescued shelter dog, jumped up on the pretty pad as soon as it was put on the covered patio. She is a small dog (17 lbs), and the medium size is perfect for her to stretch out or roll around if she wants to. Dottie LOVES it! She is an indoor dog, but likes hanging out in the backyard. In the summer, the fabric will let the breezes through. In the cooler months, a small blanket on the pad lets her enjoy the outdoors in comfort. All in all, I'm very happy with this pet bed! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks Great, My Cat Loves It You won't find this product in any stores because I think it's Australian. But it's one of the absolute most comfortable beds you can get for your dog or cat. This particular size is a medium, which is the smallest size Home Depot carries (a small size is made by the company but Home Depot chooses not to carry it), so it's a bit too big for our cat, but that also means he has extra room to stretch out on it. If Home Depot would carry the small size and advertise it for cats and small dogs that would be great but, int the meantime, the medium will do nicely for one or two cats -- you might even get a small bottle of catnip essential oil or tincture online and put it in a spray bottle with some pure alcohol and spray onto the cot to help relax your cat. Finally, this bed is very sturdy and easy to assemble. July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by it's a coolaroo! it was easily put together; the dog loves the comfortable mesh as the breeze can come under the bed. just hose it down; no more waiting for canvas of old bed to dry. great purchase, very sturdy. June 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by CoolarooMedium Size Steel Pet Bed Terracotta I ordered two of these beds so I could have one in the sun room and one in my bedroom. My Cavalier King Charles Spaniels give a two paws up to this bed. June 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by What a great idea! Here is where we protest the writing on the box indicating this is for dogs! Well, I know several cats that would disagree! These beds ended up in an outdoor shelter at 'Beautiful Feral Felines' where their mission (in Mt. Pleasant, PA) is to care for and keep safe the feral cat population! So the report I received was that they were easy to assemble and an immediate hit with the indoor cats before moving the beds outdoor! July 25, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by I have four of these Pros. Different colors go well with different parts of my landscaping. Keeps dogs off the cold cement in the winter. You can even put a bed on top. Keeps dogs cool in the summer? A Large size bed can hold a golden retriever dog. I've even seen two curled up together on one bed. Cons. The legs can get wobbly after a whole so I seem to need to tighten them once or twice a year with a screwdriver. October 21, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great value! Great value & quality. Easy assembly. May order a second Coolaroo to keep in the house because both dog seem to like it so well! 60# (about 25" tall) dogs and this size (medium) is plenty of bed for one......even fits two sometimes when they are cuddly! Note that the assembled size on the website is PLUS legs. It is actually about 43". October 22, 2012
