The unit is almost a good deal. The light is very bright and the batteries seem to charge well. HOWEVER, I could not get the motion detector to work with a range of more than 3 feet! Installation was easy and the light appears to be well built. My solar panel is mounted on a roof in Florida. Cooper LIghting is usually a good product. I am returning this one and ordering another of the same model hoping it will work as advertised. I only need about 15 feet of motion detection and it is rated at 70 feet.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by George bright for a solar light
I installed 2 in my 8x10 shed and when they turn on their is plenty on light to search for items, both are in stalled inside the shed with the wire to the solar panel going through the gable vent... thus in stalled in 10 min. I also installed 2 in my 16x20 shed... wish I got 4 for that shed..light is dim but enough to move around. For the sale price of 50. a piece I wound buy 2 more for my enclosed snowmobile trailer but not at 80.00 a unit. Also found the bulb in some units very hard to install.. you have to push the bulb prongs through a hole in the middle breaking through a small contact..just be careful...

Light worked well for my purposes for two years and then it died. New battery did not revive the light. Hoped it would last longer.

The amount of light output is not adequate. The motion sensor does not work anywhere near to the specifications.

Wanted to have a light out by our shed for extra protection. Went the solar route due to no power there. I was suprised at how much light this actually produces. install was easy, make sure and let it charge the batteries before you turn it on the first time. I doubled the suggested 24 hrs, and have had no charging issues as some have mentioned. So far for the price I am very pleased, we'll see what time & weather do to it.
