These gloves are very tough. There is too much length in the thumb of the glove, I have pretty large hands for a 140 lb guy and these fit right everywhere else, besides the thumb. The coating on the gloves is really sticky and grabbing initially, but once you use them and have a little hand strength they are good for anything. I have used the same pair to pick up broken glass containers in the woods, and I have used them with a chainsaw and to pick up branches around the yard. My wife used a pair for gardening and loves that she can quickly hose them off after each and every job and they are as good as new again. They seem like they are ventilated, however, they make your hands really sweaty and hot really quick. The price is simply amazing, how could you go wrong? 5 STARS

For my purposes, general cleaning, light construction, moving furniture, lifting garbage bags, and handling old dusty, dirty objects from the basement, these multi-material black gloves do the trick and help me get the job done. I thought the large would be too big because I wear a size 7 in gloves but they fit comfortably loose and don't fall off.

For the price, this glove package is a steal. Very comfortable, easy to put on and slide off,
flexible enough where it is comfortable in the pants pocket and warm. I first
used these in 39 degree weather riding my 10 speed bike. They were pretty good and again, very comfortable.
I used them again moving 12 - 18x18 inch paver stones and again, very comfortable. The grip was excellent and the gloves stretched and flexed with the job.
I really like these gloves.

I was looking for a light weight glove that has good dexterity along with easy gripping and can be used in wet environments. The plastic dipped palm does not hamper the performance. They are ideal for gardening and small jobs around the house. I liked these so much, we purchased two more packs just for our hurricane kit. I had no problem wearing the large and I have large hands.

The gloves are comfortable enough to wear them for hours without becoming too uncomfortable. The nitrile coating is good to have when I am using any hand tools, because it keeps them from slipping away easily... The knit pattern that the gloves have in the back help to keep my hands dryer, because it allows air in, Buying them in the five pack means that I will have them around for quite a while...

These gloves fit and grip what ever you are trying to pick up. They breathe but your hand still sweats or my hands do. The covering is thick and helps grip what you are trying to pick up. They protect your hands and keep you from dropping things. I have washed mine sever times to get the sweat and grime out of mine. They fit real good and don't slip off. I like them and if they get to gunked up I can throw them away and not have a cow because of the cost of the gloves. They are well worth the money and they save you money on high priced gloves that could get ruined in a dirty job.

These aren't going to replace your standard work gloves, nor are they designed to. What they will do is offer you a specialized glove for particular applications. This coating they have on them isn't sticky or tacky, but gives great grip on your tools. The palms seem to be waterproof, so I would think they would go over big in the garden. And they do offer protection from small injury, which is all they are designed to do. Like I said, they're not a heavy duty glove, but more of a one designated for particular jobs.
I took off one star because of the smell out of the bag. I opened them indoors, but quickly escorted them outside to air out. After a couple days, the smell was all but gone, but I felt I should caution you about it. It's not that awful 'imported plastic' smell either. I believe it must be the Nitrile coating. So do yourself that favor and take them outside for a couple days to air out. You'll thank me later. Otherwise, good specialty economical glove set (5 pairs!).
