60W Equivalent Daylight (5000K) A19 Dimmable LED Light Bulb (4-Pack) is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 48.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from new style, terrible packaging Great bulbs. Have many Cree 4 flow bulbs but they seem to not make them amymore. These put out the same light but look more like the old incandescent bulbs. They look much better in fixtures where you see the bulbs. My only complaint is the stupid packaging. The old 4 flows came out of the package easily. The new 4 pack box is a pain.

I had switched over all my lighting to CFL's to save money, but they were not lasting as long as the product stated. I was hesitant about switching to LED's because the price was so high. I received a flyer in my last electric bill from KCPL and they were offering $4.00 off of LED's at the register, they recommended Cree, so I stopped in today and a 4 pack of Cree 60 watt was marked down from $20 to $6.97 plus the $4.00 off at the register from my electric company, made for a great deal, I picked up three 4 packs (12 bulbs) and started replacing, they are brighter then the CFL's, they dim down to about 20% before they shut off, no humming or buzzing. I bought the daylight bulbs, which I wanted, but they are a tad to bright to put in the dining room ceiling fixture (5 bulbs). So I will be returning tomorrow to get some soft white. These bulbs are excellent, great price for LED, and they offer a 10 year factory warranty. I will be switching my whole townhouse over to the Cree LED's. Very satisfied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Try the 2700K soft white These are great leds, the 5000K is well suited for a shop or garage but way too white for indoors, the soft white are very comparable in brightness to the standard equivalent wattage.

I prefer daylight bulbs because they bring out the true color of your surroundings...which is especially important in kitchens (so you can see the true color of food as its being prepared) and in bedrooms (when it's hard to see subtle color differences in clothing, e.g., dark navy blue and black). Also, daylight bulbs are better for plants than soft white ones because they provide some of the missing light spectrum that plants need to thrive. ...and, because these are dimmable, if it's too bright in the room I can turn the brightness down.

The failure rate has been almost 15 percent. I'm so disappointed in Cree. In fact, my Ph.D electrical engineer brother warned me to use Phllips or Osrm -- not Cree. I wish I had listened... Cree LED bulbs are sad. So my question is: how does Home Depot and/or Cree make restitution to me? I've been tossing the bulbs and sticking the old compact fluorescents back in...

While I respect Cree as the leaders in Led technology this product did not meet my expectations. It seems that Led's still have a long ways to go before they will effectively match the qualities of an incandescent bulb. My experience is that this bulb is too expensive, the light color rendering is wrong, and the light dispersion is very poor. As such I am disappointed in this product and I have removed them from service.

I bought these when they first came out and paid TOP dollar. The warranty said I could take them back to the place of puchase for an exchange. Home Depot (Cree also) has since changed the policy to state I need to send them back for warranty exchange. Well the shipping cost defeats this warranty, it's $5 to $10 to ship a $12+ bulb. NO THANKS won't buy again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cree LED light bulbs I made this purchase because some of the original Cree LED bulbs, that I had bought approximately 18 months ago, started to malfunction. Some of the original bulbs are still working fine, hence the purchase of the same brand to match the originals. Hopefully these new ones will live up to the manufacturer's specs
