Answer:
Should work in or outdoors but I found that the bulb outer casing is very fragile and brittle so if hit slightly by hard object it can break like regular incandescent bulbs, though I think the incandescent outdoor specific flood bulbs have tougher glass.

Answer:
Yes, as long as your motion sensor is rated for LED. Some of the older motion sensors can only handle incandescent/halogen or magnetic ballast fluorescent. Look up your model number online and see what the fixture is rated to handle. Most of the newer stuff can handle LED.
I had to upgrade an interior Lutron sensor to handle LED's. My old one could not.

Answer:
I think a higher wattage could be used if it was available. There are 90 watt equivalent spot lights, but they might not fit the fixture plus some led bulbs tell you not to put them in recessed fixtures.

A higher watt what? Are you talking bulb / dimmer? Please try to be a little more specific.

Answer:
I cannot detect any RF from this bulb (model # BBR30-06550FLF-12DE26-2U100) using my ipod with earbud (cord acting as the antenna). I walked around under this light bulb with it both off and on and get a little interference from other sources, but no difference between off and on that seems to relate at all to any RF coming from the bulb. I hope this helps.

Answer:
Believe it'll be the dimmer switch's limitation since the led bulbs work as replacement of incandescent bulbs. You'll probably need to get a dimmer which will work with LED.

I've been using this single Cree LED model # BBR30-06550FLF-12DE26-2U100 in a four socket circuit with 3 other incandescent bulbs for the past 2 years using a Lutron 600-watt dimmer that is over 20 years old and stamped 'for permanently installed incandescent only' with no dimming issues at all. I don't honestly know if my success is in any way related to having incandescent bulbs still in the circuit, only one of which is still working (2 incandescent lights have burned out since). I am in the process of buying the same LEDs to replace all the incandescent lights in this circuit, so I will soon find out if the dimmer still works correctly. I expect it to but I am not an electrical engineer. There may be some bearing on the load presented by 4 incandescent bulbs drawing 240-300 watts total vs 4 LEDs drawing about 38 watts total. 65W Equivalent Daylight (5,000K) BR30 Dimmable LED Floodlight Bulbs (4-Pack) is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 164.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from High Failure Rate - Do Not Buy I purchased 5 of these bulbs for my kitchen a year and a half ago and 2 have stopped working. One died completely and one started flickering like an old florescent bulb. Home depot offered me 10% off a replacement and Cree needs the original proof or purchase, a receipt, and you have to mail it to them for any kind of warranty. Why waste your money on led if it last less than 2 years and cost 10 times as much. Buy something other than CREE.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Color of Light First, ordered 12 on HDs daily specials. The warehouse that shipped them, tossed them loosely into the box in their blister pack. NO padding around anything. Result several broken lamps. Installed 2 lamps in the hall, the color is closer to that of a cool white fluorescent lamps than true daylight. I have purchased several Phillips BR30 lamps for my house in the change over to LED. They are true daylight. The only strong point is they were CHEAP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved alot! I wanted sky lights in my kitchen. While we saved up for a reasonably expensive job,and not necessarily the best idea, in Florida, we decided to try the today's special daylight led. bulbs in our kitchen pot lights . 6 pot lights, 3 leds.and I forget I wanted sky lights. The bulbs truly are like the daylight they proclaim to be. I no longer want sky lights, and now we can use that money we saved for a new garage door opener.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst LED on the market - no wonder HD stopped carrying them I purchased over $1000 of these for 2 homes when they first came out. 2 years later, with normal home use, they are burning out left and right. I can't return them as I typically don't keep lightbulb packaging or proof of purchase. Tried calling Cree but that's proved to be a waste of time. No wonder Home Depot stopped carrying these.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too White I bought 12 of these bulbs and 4 arrived broken. That's a different story...so I installed the 8 survivors which gave me a good comparison of the old incandescent bulb and the LED. The LED is so bright and white compared to the old bulbs. I've heard there's a softer LED bulb or at least one with a softer lens, but this isn't it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great replacement for compact fluorescent bulbs and incandescent If you've ever used compact fluorescent bulbs, you know how dim they start out and eventually brighten up. With these led bulbs, they turn on instantly to full brightness. Two benefits to led compared to cfl: no mercury gas and leds don't fade colors like fluorescent lights.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice product but needs better packaging The bulbs work great, but one came broken. HD Needs to do a better job packaging the, as the cushion was not enough. The light bulbs work great, but they are a white tone and I like the daylight tone better .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great buy. Everything went well from unpacking to performance. The delivery was fast and the bulbs were packaged great. I only had to tear the bottom of the plastic and it opened easy. The bulbs work fine and I used the old containers to hold the old bulbs.
