Product Overview

This Cree LED Dimmable Floodlight (3-Pack) can be used indoors and outdoors, spreading bright white light 47 degrees from center to broadly illuminate interior or exterior expanses. The PAR38 lamp produces 1500 lumens of light output using only 18 watts of power, stays cool and lasts longer than other bulb types, giving you a competitive advantage on all fronts. Its bright white (3000K) color temperature maintains its whiteness when dimmed, keeping your space attractively lit even as brightness of the lamp is diminished. This Cree LED bulb looks and lights like the 90 watt incandescent bulbs you love, and is affordably priced. Backed by a 10-year warranty, Cree LED bulbs shine brightly while using at least 80% less energy and are designed to operate for up to 25,000 hours. The perfect replacement for incandescent at a price you can afford, Cree LED bulbs pay for themselves quickly and then pay you year after year.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer Beware!!! I purchased 8 of these units for my outdoor motion lights. Thats $200 worth of bulbs! They are supposed to save tons of energy and last at least 10 years. Three of them have failed in less than a year, and Home Depot says "you must deal with CREE". CREE says you must have the original receipt, the proof of purchase off of the original package, and you must mail the bulbs at your own expense for a replacement. That's a warranty for a bulb GUARANTEED to last 10 years? It says 23 years on the package![at 3 hours use per day]. Don't believe it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from highest lumens I've found in a quality LED floodlight I have been waiting, waiting, waiting, for the color quality of LED floodlights and the price to get better before I installed them inside. Finally took the plunge with these as I am tired of having dark places in the house. Cree is a US company, and it is a pleasure to find a quality product for sale that is made in the USA. Overall, Cree LEDs have the best light quality, and these have great brightness. I am a little disappointed that these only have a CRI of 80, whereas Cree makes other bulbs that are a 93. (CRI is supposed to be on the package, but I couldn't find it. Finally found it on this website.) When installing these in your home, you want the best CRI possible, so I am waiting a while before I purchase more, in the hopes that aspect will improve. (Yes, I am picky about color accuracy.) These will dim to around 40-50% power on my old Lutron Skylark incandescent dimmer, so I may just stick with that dimmer, and not pay to replace it. Looking forward to more choices and upgrades from Cree.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Defective Product!!! This is a great light when it works. The color of the light, brightness and 47 degree spread are nice. I bought ten of these lights for outdoor fixtures and three months later, SIX have failed. One only lasted a week. Cree says they should last 22.8 years. WRONG! This is a defective product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Quality control issues for use outdoors I bought 12 of these bulbs online. Used 6 for can lights in my kitchen. They are very bright and seem to be an improvement over the halogens they replaced, not to mention the major power savings. I also installed six more outside to provide lighting reflections on my house. I found two of the six were defective after our first large rain. Water intrusion into the bulb caused them to short out. I returned them to home depot for a refund. Good bulbs for indoors and once they fix their quality problem with water intrusion, also for outdoors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product for areas that need more light than 65w equivalent This is a duplicate review that I posted on the single bulb product page. I am posting here since I purchased as a 3 pack. I have a large room full of recessed fixtures that use an E-11 base 150W halogen lights. I bought some adaptors and was able to convert the whole room over. I went from 150W to 18W with no noticeable difference in light output. I think this is because the LED concentrates the light whereas the LED bulb was higher up in the fixture. They look exactly like any other Halogen PAR 38 bulb but are cooler to the touch and do not throw off much heat. They are about 60% less weight than other LED bulbs because they do not have a bulky metal heat sync. Great CREE product that is domestically made. My payback will be less than 1.5 years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Money saving flood lights We had a different application than most; we replaced 500 watt mogul base high bay lights at our church using an adapter. The old bulbs were very expensive to operate and our pastor wanted to find something more efficient. We first bought 2 of the LED floods, and were quite happy with their output and color. We have since replaced all 14 and could not be happier. Now all 14 Cree bulbs use less electricity than 2 of the old high bay lights. That's a real savings!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Burned out less than 4 months Bought this in August 2015 it was around $27.00 with tax. Made sure I purchased the bulb rated for outdoor and wet locations. Bulb burnt out in December of 2015. Really didn't think I'd need to keep the receipt for a $27 light bulb guaranteed for 5 years, so I didn't. Out $27.00! Disappointed
