Crown Bolt's shoulder bolts are also known as stripper bolts, or axle bolts. The head is round in diameter with a knurled outer edge and contains a recessed socket drive to prevent slippage during installation. Generally used as a spacer or bearing arm, they allow parts in an assembly to pivot freely on the shoulder portion of the bolt. The threaded portion is a reduced diameter course thread. Measurement is taken from the underside of the head to the end of the shoulder. Alloy steel for increased load capacity.
