I would think so if you have a weighted umbrella base under the table.

Outdoor Clothesline Dryer is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 66.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far so good I was all set to buy concrete, etc. to put this in the ground and saw a review using a table base. I figured I would give it a shot and it is a great solution. I had an small extra patio table and I can sit my basket on it while I hang clothes. It is light and setup took 3 minutes since I was using the table. I can tell the lines will have to be tightened often though I haven't had to yet. I rotate as I go, adding clothes closest to the center, on each side, then moving outward. Holds 2 loads easy, with space left over, and I have a large washer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from good product for the price These don't last forever, but they are a great value considering a lot of the other brands are at least double to quadruple the price. If you load heavier items near the center, skip every other line, and are diligent about folding the unit down and covering it (I use an old camp chair bag) when it is not being used, it will last a lot longer. Keeping the lines tight and loading the laundry weight evenly around all four sides will also help extend the life of this clothesline. In my experience, the lower plastic extender piece is what usually breaks, and this is usually due to sun damage AND too much weight unevenly dispersed around the lines.

Then 2 days later I used it for the first time. One of the lines was not tight enough so when my husband tightened it he noticed one of the arms was bent . He did not see this on install. The store where we bought it is a 40 minute drive away so rather than disassemble (it is a lot of work) and return it we now have to live with this imperfection. How disappointing.

Very familiar with this product and have not had any issues with installation or durability. Only downside is that these seem to be hard to locate in store. Ordered online and received two days later. Awesome!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it I love this clothes line. It works great. I put it in an existing pole so that I can remove it to store during winter. I had my other clothesline removed and only use this one.

Given how easy it is to take out, put up, use, take down, and bring in, the cord and frame should last a lot longer than it would if it were out in the sun & weather all the time. Installation involves digging a hole, adding gravel, carefully adding post-set cement, and keeping everything perpendicular while adding water. With a little care, you get a capped socket that's self-draining and barely above level with the ground. As with a hammock, you have to make sure not to get the cords all tangled, when it's not extended. Unlike a hammock, if you get things tangled, you can turn it upside down and shake a bit, and it'll pretty reliably untangle itself. I find I can load it pretty heavily (including hanging hangers from the cross-braced points on the frame) so long as I keep the loading even. 4 stars, rather than 5, because a telescoping pole, or a few extra inches, would make this a lot more usable for me (and I'm only 5' 6"). As it is, it takes some attention to make sure laundry hangs high enough to avoid pets, kids, etc. But really, a very good item for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You can remove it to mow yard We use this product to air dry some clothes. Most go in the dryer but some need to air dry. You can remove this clothesline to easily mow your yard.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Clothes Line pole This is my second one. They last three or four years. The sun and regular use takes a toll on these light duty units. They work just fine if you do not over load them. A single load maybe two if they are light loads. You should not hang anything too heavy on this unit. It is only lightweight aluminum and could bend and break. I will buy another one when this wears out. I do like hanging clothes outdoors to save money. This unit is a good value for the price. The pole locks in place and will not slip down. I do recommend taking the unit down in the winter and in very heavy wind.
