OK here is MY opinion. It is very inexpensive for a reason... You get what you pay for. This will do a basic job. The job is to hold up a shower curtain.
It is customizable, if you have the proper equipment, a pipe cutter, I would NOT recommend a hack saw.
Connectors come apart very easily and allow you to put the curtain on.
I would not expect this product to last through a family normal use. Definitely not more than a year or two at most.
You have to use very light weight shower curtains as I found that a vinyl or plastic types are much too heavy.
Connectors come apart very easily.

with minor modification, I made the rod work on a shower even though it was intended for a full sized tub.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by hazeyes NOT WORTH THE MONEY. POOR
It was a very poorly made shower curtain rod. The brackets are plastic and have already broken. I would not recommend to anyone. $50.09 wasted that I didn't have to waste. Only a fraction of the star.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Yiaya Very Poor Quality
This shower curtain comes with plastic end caps. Very cheap & flimsy. Worst of all it comes with no support for the corner angle. It barely supports the weight of a single shower curtain. Don't try hanging a towel over it! We had to go back and order an additional fixture to provide support from the ceiling. (We had assumed this would be part of our original purchase). The ceiling support costs as much as the shower curtain rod. Don't think about trying to use this L-shaped rod without buying the ceiling support! :(

I bought this curtain rod to replace the original rod from the 1950s.
When I opened the package, I found the rod’s diameter was really small. But worse, the two sections of the rod were joined by a plastic L shape piece that was visible between the two sections. So you saw the plastic joiner when it was installed.
I was shocked at the tackiness of this product. So I cleaned off my 50 year old rod and used it again.
Last time I will ever order from the Home Depot website for a product when the appearance is really important.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Lilly Product was damaged on arrival and was returned to store.
The L-shaped shower curtain rod was very cheeply made for the price - $45. The end caps were made of plastic - which would have lasted about a month, if that, of use, and the rod was very light weight aluminum. I would have been replacing it in about a month or two, so it was not worth having at all. I did order another L-shaped rod for about $85 that's made from heavier metal. I hope this one works.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by supermom This product was quite flimsy I expected a thicker metal.
The product did not have a support rod and it needs one. I have to purchase a separate support rod.
