I usually do not take the time to write any reviews, but I do read them when looking into buying something that I am not familiar with. Here is my review: 1) Was easy to set up. I did read the directions as I put it together. The only issue is that the upper hose handle bracket does not allow for an easy attachment of the hose. 2) It does start with 1 pull. Good thing because it is hard to pull (vs. a lawn mower). 3) I vacuumed my front yard (4,000 sq. ft.) fairly well. I have 5 live oak trees in it and there is always a tremendous amount of small leaves. When I used my riding mower with the bagger on it, it always clogged in the discharge, but using the CSV 050, I was able to pick up about 95% of the leaves using a back and forth motion of about 8 - 10 feet. I am confident I can now use my riding mower to pick up the final amount of leaves left without it clogging up. 4) I do not like the vacuum hose. There is not enough suction to do the beds, etc. The hose weighs about 7 - 10 lbs. and is cumbersome to use, so I'll use a blower still to do those and the mower to pick the leaves up. 5) The bag on the CSV 050 does hold the dust down to a minimum and fills up fast. To empty the bag into a leaf bag is very difficult. I bought a folding Lawn / Leaf bag with a stand from Lowes (#0230240) and 39 gallon Lawn and Leaf bags (1.1 mil w/ drawstring) (#0196338). The stand of the folding Lawn and Leaf Bag is both strong enough and big enough to hold a full load of leaves (you have to open 2 swivel locking tabs to open the bag to empty it (not easy doing it on the ground). The 39 gallon Lawn and Leaf bags are large enough to both fit the stand and accept the contents of a full bag of leaves. Note - The bag is full when the vacuum tilts back onto the rear wheels (front wheels in the air). It is otherwise hard to tell when the bag is full. Overall, I am very pleased that I was able to do my yard with less hassle than any other method I have tried before (blowing, raking, using the riding mower bagger). The is dust of course, but no where as much as any other method I tried.

I have this shredder and it works pretty well but has one major flaw. The plastic handle on the rear of the bag breaks after just a few uses. I have broken two just in this one fall season, 2015/2016. Although I have gotten one new one the second one is in the process. I have modified the last one to break and put two 1.5 X 11 inch metal strips for reinforcement with two clothes hooks mounted to those. It appears to be plenty strong but I have not used it yet because I do not have any leaves to clean up. Don't see a way that I can send pictures, its beyond my web abilities.

Used machine several times now, just bagged 12 bags of leaves as we have several mature maple trees in our lawn. it worked great. The only problem is the handle is uncomfortable and not adjustable for different heights of operators. I fixed the feel of the handle by using pipe foam insulation tube to wrap it. this made it feel better.
